Don brushed the sweat of his forehead as he leaned against the trunk of the biggest tree he had ever beheld in his entire short life. He had been clawing his way through lush jungle for what felt like years.
The spaceship he had "borrowed" from the Zangyack Military had crash landed in the midst of the rainforest the local tribal people called the Amazon.
He was afraid to approach the tribe at first and watched them from afar for several days before finally making his move (actually they found him sprawled out across the floor, dying of starvation). They fed him, let him with stay with them for a bit, gave some supplies, and sent him off to where they believe a city was.
Don must have taken a wrong turn somewhere for he found no city, but jungle. Lots and lots of jungle.
Don smacked himself in the head, he should have stayed with the ship. Not only did it have air conditioner, but he had left the emergency beacon on. Any space craft in a planetary radius would pick it up and since the Zangyack have likely not made it this far, it could have meant help.

While her little brother was back on the Galleon to try and get it function, Karazu decided to explore the jungle, in search of treasure and the like. After all, jungles usually hold treasure, though it was risky to get it. Nevertheless, she went on ahead, taking her GokaiSpear with her... and said spear was now being used to keep her upright as she walked. "Too... too hot..." she panted, wiping the sweat off her brow before she continued moving.

The indigenous tribe gave him a knife and he used it to help clear a path, but it quickly sapped his strength in this heat.
It had been an untold number of days and he may have been going around in circles for all he knew.
He was running low on food and water.
"I'm going to die here..." he muttered, "I am so going to die..."

"There's gotta be something out here... a village, a person, anyone... I'd rather get out of here than be lost..." she muttered, turning the spear upside down and jamming it into the ground as she stood to rest.

"There's no way out..." he said in response to the woman he stood next to, "We'll be trapped here forev-"
He then actually noticed he had come across another person, "Eeeeeh?!"

"Yeah... No way in--- AH!" Karazu shouted, just as surprised as Don was.

Don fell flat on his butt.
"W-w-who are you?!"

"It's rude to ask a woman her name when you haven't introduced yourself."

"Oh, sorry.." he stood back up while brushing himself off, "I'm Ja-Don Dogoier."
He smacked himself mentally.
Don Dogoier? Really? I couldn't have come up with a cooler sounding name...?

"Nice to meet you too, Miyazaki-san," he smiled, "Did your spaceship crash land here too..."
He quickly shut his mouth before waving his arms around frantically, "Spaceship? What spaceship?! I didn't have a spaceship!"

He blinked, "You're brother has a spaceship? Did I hear that right...?"
He ducked behind a tree, "You guys aren't bounty hunters are you...?"

"Bounty hunters? Us?" Karazu laughed. "Do I look like a bounty hunter to you?"

"Hmmm," Don inched his head a little closer to examine her body before saying with a big goofy grin, "You look a-ok to me!"
