Jun's partner, the sentient Gothic style bracelet, Uriel, wasn't pleased but Jun didn't care. He wasn't breaking any rules and he had accomplished his last mission as directed. He had slayed the necessary Horror for the day and done his training. This was his time now and no amount of bitching from his partner was going to get him to change his tune.
"When your orders instructed you to come to Vol City as soon as possible I don't think..." Uriel started preaching again. Jun simply leaned back in his chair and sipped some good hard earned coffee.
"Uriel, I'm on break. I finished the job and now for these maybe seven minutes or whatever I get to do whatever the hell I want. And I don't want to listen to you complain. If you want to bitch bring it up to the members who gave me vague orders. 'As soon as possible' is left to interpretation. They want a competent Makai Knight to come to Vol City." He grinned. "You know how testy I can be without coffee."
It looked like Uriel was about to complain again so Jun did his best to draw the attention of others. His partner wouldn't be able to talk if non-Order people were watching. He didn't really need an excuse, anyway. He loved performing 'mundane magic' as others called it. For his first trick he summoned a bunch of roses seemingly out of no where and had them rain down on the table.

Both mediators were currently relaxing after another case, this time a mage who wanted to transcend mortal bounds and become a god. Your typical run-of-the-mill mad mage and Moloch had dealt with him while Uriel dealt with the aftermath of the entire spell. An entire block destroyed and tainted, it would take a long time to deal with the taint, but that wasn't Uriel's job: that was the job of the Paradiso forces though he knew it would be, and excuse the pun, hell to deal with it. "You know...maybe you guys shouldn't put that thing all over the place," Uriel remarked referring to the spell and mad writings that would allow a person to become a god.
"Hey the thing was put out eons ago...how are we to know where most of them are?" Moloch retorted as the angel sighed, sometimes he wondered if Moloch ever took his duties seriously.

Uriel shut up as Jun did his parlor magic tricks, no real magic involved. Still, it gained him quite the attention. People at the various tables were beginning to look up at him. "Hey, anyone have any requests?" he asked loosely. "I can do the typical pull the rabbit out of my hat trick if you want!" He extracted his playing cards. "Or the usual pick a card any card!" he said in his orator voice.
He moved over to one table at random, holding out the cards. "Take one!" he urged.

"Mortal magicians," Moloch muttered with a scoff, "they think they're so great."
"Hush Moloch, let them do what they want to do, what they're doing is not a sin," Uriel said.
"Stil...it's an insult to the real magicians out here," Moloch said as Uriel simply continued to sip his tea.

Jun had a woman pick a card, ensuring that she didn't show it to him. He later made the card appear behind her ear. She clapped as did the others at her table.
He moved onto the table where Moloc and Uriel were. "What about you two?" he asked pleasantly. "Can I entertain you with some magic?" He questioned, shuffling his cards in a showy fashion. "It doesn't have to be cards. Name it and I'll see if I can do it."

The two mediators looked at Jun as Moloch had a cheeky grin on his face, "Sure why not, we could do with some smiles," he said, "show me what you got," he said clapping and rubbing his hands.
"Do what you wish," Uriel said as he continued to read the paper and drink tea.

Jun grinned. "Tough crowd, eh?" he asked appreciatively. He was pretty good with his 'mundane magic'. He was convinced that he could impress them. So something big and flashy maybe....Or maybe an escape trick! Yeah! He'd start with that.
Jun extracted a pair of handcuffs and handed them to Molocho. He pulled out another pair for his feet. "Restrain my hands and feet," he began. He then took out an intimidatingly thick and long chain. "And chain me up for good measure. I'll escape!"

Moloch looked at Jun for a moment before he went and restrained his hands and feet wrapping it nice and tight.

Jun was able to free himself in under two minutes. He looked back at the two beaming, trying to see if they were impressed. If not he had more tricks.

Moloch looked at Uriel who was uncaring of the thing before he looked at Jun, "Not bad...not bad at all," he said, "but that was just child's play...got any more tricks?'

"Plenty," he responded. "Give me a challenge and I bet I can do it."

"Really? Then make yourself disappear, invisible I mean," Moloch said with a grin.

Making himself invisible was more complicated. He would need to set up. "If you have time to wait I could do it."

"Ah...true magic doesn't require time my friend," Moloch said with a smile.

Jun smirked. Technically he was a true magician. He could cast real spells. He just preferred his parlor tricks.
"Actually, it depends on the spell. Some require a lot of time and individualized attention." His sister had needed hours to prepare for some purification rituals.
