Lucilla had finished all of her classes for the day and she had just spent several hours practicing the piano. The weather was lovely today so she figured it would be nice to go and visit her favorite park. It had a lake and flowers and there were always plenty of birds around. She really loved feeding the birds.
She hummed as she swung her long white cane with the red tip in a low sweeping motion. She could use her echolocation to 'see' the area around her but that would require her to stop humming as she'd need to make clicking noises with her tongue. She preferred a mix of her cane and echolocation anyway.
She approached her typical bench and extracted a bag of bird seeds, tossing the food on the ground. It wasn't long before the air was filled with familiar chirping noises, sparrows from the sound of it. She only wished she could see what they looked like. With a few clicks of her tongue she was able to determine their numbers and shape. But what colors were their feathers? She so missed seeing colors.
