Overview:
At the edge of the people’s hope, at the end of their time, Kiriha is a hero. That’s how he views himself; the final shining beacon of hope that people will have. He seems to be lucky, born with the surname he was born with. It fits him very well, standing as a savior, and little else. Whether he be saving lives as a Rider, or as a doctor, he feels he was born to be a hero to the people, to guard their lives, to ensure life continues.

He himself would deny having a god complex; he has no desire to be a god, as the name would imply. A hero complex is more like it. He’s a rather stubborn man, cocky, but good, intelligent and quick thinking. He’s dedicated himself to becoming a doctor, and takes it seriously, holding as much medical information as he can, not just on diagnostic medicine, but also on surgery and other specialties. He’s determined to be a great savior of people, and wants to know everything he can.

He can be a very hard man to like, or to get along with at times. He doesn’t have a wide array of friends, but doesn’t care. He sees himself as someone who doesn’t need friends, or connections. However, family is strong to him, since his family only has two members of this generation. Himself and his half-sister (from another marriage of his father’s, so the blood is with her as well), Marilen.

Ever since being infused with the Arcle, Kiriha’s changed at least somewhat. He’s become colder and more distant, and only a few things can bring him out of it, such as his family, his duty/job, or a few other things related to his life and important matters. He acts more brooding otherwise, and has less time for people than usual, finding himself thinking more and more about life and its meaning. Through and through, however, the value of a human life has always stuck with him, and is something he’ll never forget nor look down upon.

Due to his family’s status, and his own rising status, he often attends social functions. He has a mix of enjoyment about it, but often only does it to appear proper and is oft bored with them.

He tends to have blackouts when the Arcle’s power fades, at least right away. After returning to normal he’s incredibly weakened, back to normal human condition. However, under normal circumstances his physical prowess has increased due to the Arcle’s presence within him. It’s caused him to take a new duty upon himself and become a Kamen Rider, albeit one relying on nothing but his own body.

He is fluent in English (and can lose his accent), Spanish, Chinese and French on top of his native Japanese.

Henshin Sequence: He does a stance like this with his arms as his belt appears by force of will. He shouts “Henshin!” and draws his arm down to the other side of the belt, mimicking what his left arm is doing. He draws his arms to their proper sides and rests his hands on the nodes on the sides of the Arcle, transforming himself.

Kiriha was born into a good family, and as such was brought up to believe in acting a certain way. Both of his parents told him to do this, and taught him how to be a proper gentleman and a man of society, for when he’d be older.

Kiriha’s life at home when he was young was odd. His parents divorced a year after he was born, but lived together in their large home. His father had remarried immediately (they had divorced because he had cheated and impregnated his mistress). His father always said it was because his first wife was too weak to have another child, and the Kyuuseishu line needed to live on with more children, and only his blood was left.

He grew up in a home with his birth mother, his father, and a step-mother. His birth mother never remarried. Soon he had a half-sister, who was named Marilen. The two siblings got together very well as they grew up, and became very close. When they learned about the strange home situation neither really seemed to care or mind it at all.

Throughout schooling, Kiriha didn’t have a lot of friends. He studied a lot, to become the man his parents wanted him to become. He was close to Marilen, and that was enough for him. Marilen, however, had a social life, had friends, she wasn’t as strict about things as Kiriha was in listening to their father.

Kiriha kept on this path through his life, through his schooling. He chose to become a doctor, for the sake of a respected position. After school he entered med school and began his hard work anew, only having time for family and a few people he befriended in his program.

School, minimal life, social functions with his father, that’s what his life had become. For a few years he just kept doing this, not really having anything else, nor really wanting anything else. He thought he was happy, or would be on the way to happiness when he became a doctor.

He’s twenty three years old, and on his last year of med school. Something happened, however. He was taking a subway ride to a meeting he was supposed to attend (social thing), when someone stabbed him. He blacked out but woke up near the place he was supposed to go to. Not a lot of time had passed apparently.

He wasn’t even sure if he really had been stabbed. He had no wound, no cut in his clothing. He just went about life. A few days later, the Arcle appeared and he transformed. He’d come to learn that he was a Kamen Rider, and learn to control the Arcle, gaining Mighty Form, and learning how to use his base forms.

Soon after he crafted his own unique Rider guise, simply called “Kamen Rider”. His intent was to use his boosted body from the Arcle to act as a Rider and hero, acting under both identities as he continues to live his life and strive to become a doctor to save people that way as well.
