Charlotte buckled under the weight of six hard bound books. She really wasn't very strong but these books might be the key to discovering just where this new treasure they were searching for was located. She managed to make her way to a table in the cafe before collapsing. Now she had a problem.
She was here because she wanted to buy coffee, help keep her going through these books. But she couldn't very well leave her books unattended to go and purchase coffee. Someone might steal or otherwise disturb the necessary articles. Charlotte let out a long heartfelt sigh. She couldn't very well ask a stranger to watch them. That would be as good as leaving them unattended. If only one of her treasure hunting teammates were here. She didn't trust them but she trusted them to prioritize the mission above everything else. They wanted to find the treasure same as she did so they'd make sure the books were properly taken care of while she bought coffee.
She started leafing through the books, still unwilling to leave her place to buy coffee. Oh she was tired. She had been at this research for a while without much to show for it. Maybe soon she'd take a break and go steal something. That could be fun. If wouldn't further their goal but everyone else on the team had lives outside of treasure hunting. It was okay for her to indulge herself as Hermes every once in a while.

Eurydice walked into the coffee shop, walking up to the front counter. "May I please have some tea? Spiced Mandarin Oolong Tea if you have it," she asked the man at the counter before she sat down somewhere nearby.

Charlotte really needed some coffee. When she saw someone sit nearby she decided to at least talk to them. Maybe they'd seem...more trustworthy than most? She doubted it but she wouldn't put her books in danger by striking up a conversation.
she stood up and walked over, being careful to always keep her books in sight. "What's your name?" she asked. She supposed that was as good a way to begin a discussion as any. She needed a break from her books, anyway. If she tried to look through them a minute longer her head would explode.

"Hm? Me?" Eurydice asked, looking up at the woman. "Eurydice Fujimoto. Why do you ask?"

"I'm trying to determine if you're trustworthy," Charlotte said honestly. "See, I really want to buy some coffee but I'm worried someone might disturb my books over there," she said gesturing towards the table. "I'm wondering if it's possible to find someone willing to watch them."
