Yuki nodded, "I have dinner to prepare after all."
She released Mayu, stood back up, and faced the monster.
It growled, "You bitch...!"
It's arm then streched forward taking Yuki by surprise.

"Yukirin!!" Mayu shouted, running (or rather, stumbling) towards Yuki to push her out of the way.

Yuki cut him down right then and there. He didn't get a chance to scream, he just faded away into nothingness...
Yuki quickly undid her henshin and rushed back to Mayu's side.
"MAYUUU!" tears ran dawn her cheek like streams.

Mayu didn't respond... but at the very least, she was still breathing.

Yuki rested her head against Mayu's chest and was relieved to hear the thump-thump of her heart.
