Shinkengers

Four samurais hand chosen by Hikoma Kusakabe (affectionate called Jii by the team) from four families that have served the Shiba Family for generations will be given the power to become Shinkengers under the leadership of the 18th head of the Shiba House Yuki Shiba/ShinkenRed to fight the villainous Gedoushu who arrive through the cracks in the human world from the Sanzu River to wreak havoc. Joining the team is Yuki's time displaced ancestor who is also ShinkenRed and Yuki's best friend hikkikimori perverted scientist who later invents the means to become ShinkenGold.

Coming in later are the three ronin Shinkengers, the malicious mastermind (and Yuki's half brother) ShinkenViolet, and his bodyguard/man-servant Onikenger.
