Sayuri saw Marilen struggle and fail to open the door. It was locked which must mean Kiriha was inside.
Sayuri started knocking on the door, not too loudly yet. "Kiriha, you have visitors," she said brightly.

"Don't make me knock down the door," Sayuri said pleasantly. "I'm strong enough." Well it was more about knowing where to precisely hit the door but whatever. She could make it work. If he didn't believe her she'd prove it.

Patience was normally Sayuri's game; but, she figured she could wait all day and still Kiriha would refuse to unlock the door.
"I'm serious, Kiriha. If you don't open this door on the count of five I'm breaking it down," she promised.
"ONE..." she started counting.

"Two...Three..Four..." She really would knock it down if he didn't open by five. She wouldn't even feel guilty about it. He certainly had the money to replace a damaged door.

As expected Kiriha hadn't opened up. Well this would be entirely his fault.
Sayuri moved back before leaping forward. She distributed practically all her weight into her right foot and used the momentum of her jump to get some extra power behind the kick to the door. She aimed for its perceived weak spot. If everything went well it should fall forward. If not she'd simply try again. She had time.

It didn't break. It shuddered, but it was strong.
"Well...," Marilen said. That would work, with a few more. She was sure Kiriha heard that.

"Strong door," Sayuri said approvingly. This would be fun. She moved back and repeated her previous kick, trying to get a little more power behind it the second time.
