Nearly twelve hours after the battle with the two Ayakashi and the encounter with the mysterious man in rags, Yuki is lying in her bed at the main Shiba house being watched over by Jii.
The expression on his face was grim, his master didn't appear to be getting better. This toxin was a unique creation that no one in the household medical staff had even seen before.
There was only one person capable of such a thing. He shook his head of such thoughts. There was no way it was the work of that person...

"I will," she said, starting to leave. She then stopped. "Jii... I promise you, I'll get that antidote." With that, she took her leave, making her way to the location the mysterious man wanted her to be at.

The man was waiting for her in the exact same spot he was standing earlier when Mayu first encountered him.
