Salem's left eye twinkled, and the water froze in midair, dropping to the floor in a shower of frozen beads. Another blast of force knocked the bottle from Kaki's hand, and Salem made an angry noise.

"Salem, regardless of how magical you are, you're no more than two feet high. I'm not intimidated by anything shorter than four." Kakeru said, glaring right at Salem's eyes, his own glowing a fierce red.

"If I were willing to burn this body to nothingness, I could mold your body like wet clay." Salem began, his voice taking on a eerie, echoic quality, as if fifty Salems were speaking at once, his eyes glowing a deep, brilliant blue. "I could erase you from reality itself." His eyes suddenly lost their glow, and his voice returned to normal. "But I quite like this form, so I won't."

Kakeru just stared him down, the glow magnifying. "There could be a thousand of you at full power, and I wouldn't flinch an inch. My name is Daishori. Great Victory. Not Great Coward."

"We seem to have reached a stalemate, so let's reach an agreement. I will teach you to harness your magical talent properly, and in return, you stop calling me "gatito", among other offenses. Deal?" Salem asked.
Claudia examined the suit binding her for a moment.

"I'll come to you when we begin. For now, I leave you two to have your fun." Salem said, stalking off and hopping down the other side of the shelf.
Claudia mumbled, watching Salem leave.

Kakeru chuckled, before picking up Claudia and walking away to find a nice secluded area of the Warehouse.
