He unhooked a necklace from a rack and walked up behind her, slipping it around her and bringing the ends together to keep it on.

Taylor gasped a little, looking down. She picked it up, and turned around to face Thorne. "Well, that was... beautiful..." She lost track, almost entranced by the necklace.

Taylor blinked. Her hand twitched. It took an amazing amount of self-control to not slap him in the face. One eye twitched. "I'm going to assume you didn't say that..."

"I was hoping so. Because if you were serious, it would not have turned out well for you, I can guarantee that." Taylor said. A few of the plants in the room began to twitch, and one began to visibly grow.
