He just clicked his Battery to summon his sword as he rose to his feet.

"Can we get a location?" Taylor asked, looping the microphone over her ear.
"A few streets over." Romulus began, giving them more detailed directions.
"Well, let's save the city. Again." Taylor said.

"Thank you." She said, smiling, as she headed out ahead of him. She began going to where Rom had directed them, seeing signs of an attack before arrival.

As they arrived he had his Battery in hand, ready to summon his sword at the first sign of an enemy.

Zourima swarmed forth suddenly, and Taylor opened fire, taking a few out quickly.

"Oh fun. And there's our monster." Taylor muttered, throwing her shoulder into one to throw it off balance.
