It was that time a year again - Christmas time.
Her father was an old school, traditionalist sort of guy so the Shiba family never celebrated Christmas before, but this year it was different.
This year a Christmas party was to be held at the main Shiba house with all of the Shinkengers in attendance.
Yuki was still at her own house, getting ready, her face fluctuating between a child's glee and an adult's anxiety.

Mayu, likewise, was devising what she considered to be the perfect plan for this party. She had placed a piece of mistletoe at a specific point in the house, and she was going to bait Yuki to it. If all worked well (and Mayu was absolutely sure it would), she would finally be able to kiss the one she loved! On Christmas! "It's the perfect plan!!"

Standing atop a tree branch, the girl observes the comings and goings of the Shiba house. "Hmm..so this is the place. They're having..Christmas? That was always a forbidden holiday.." she mumbled softly, maintaining perfect balance and equilibirum, lost in her thoughts.

Yuki adjusted her dress (she thought about wearing a kimono, but that didn't seem to fit the occasion) and stepped out of her room.
"Mayu?" she called out, "Are you ready? It's about time to head over to the main house."

Sayuki was at the main house having heard that their lord was going to visit for the Christmas season, she had high hopes that she would be able to go and spend some time with Kari instead of being cooped up here, but she couldn't desert her 'duties' mainly because Kari would have told her to go back and serve Yukirin. So here she was simply waiting for her to come along with Mayu, "Hope this doesn't take too long," she grumbled under her breath.
