When he finally arrived he threw money in and ran towards the building.

Noland was still inside when Thorne entered. "Now, before you throw some sort of fit, I'm not the one who took her. Well, technically I am, but I'm on your side here. She's currently in the hands of someone far worse, and he's further into the building." He pointed to a door behind him.

Thorne glared at him. He didn't trust him though. He didn't want to walk in only for this man to be behind him. But...he didn't want to punch him either and fuck this up. He just hurried.

Carter could hear Thorne coming. "Dammit, that psycho must have alerted him." He threw a blanket over his project and grabbed a pistol out of his toolbox, chambering a round and moving to intercept Thorne.

As Thorne was running he had one hand on his Battery. He didn't want to transform or pull a sword in case this guy was still here. He didn't want his identity blown like that. He was almost there.

"So someone tipped you off." Carter said, standing above Thorne, gun in hand. "It was probably that idiot with the fiddle. "I told you, it might be wise to tell me what you were doing." Noland said, walking in. "I have the upper hand now."

He clicked his Battery a few times, not saying a word. He was going to freeze the gun.

Carter raised the gun and pulled the trigger. The bullet fired, but the barrel had frozen shut, causing the gun to explode in his hand. He dropped to his knees, clutching his now-mangled hand, screaming in agony. Noland winced when it happened.

Thorne ignored him and just kept running.

"I suppose I'll have to deal with you now." Noland said up to Carter. Carter didn't hear him.
His project was in a back room, covered with a sheet.

He kept running and shouting for Taylor until he burst into that room. He ran over and pulled the sheet down, taking a guess.

It was a chair, with a slight recline and a large, boxy base. There was a small bump at the base of the chair back and an metal attachment shaped vaguely like a head at the edge of the seat, positioned in the center. There was a plug and a removable rectangular plate in the attachment.

"The hell?" he muttered.

Noland walked in. "Oh my, he's rather... creative." He walked over and pulled the plate off. A pair of brown eyes stared out at them, looking around frantically, and light moans could be heard. "We're going to need a screwdriver. And possibly a therapist."

He clicked his battery and loaded it into his sword, "Out," he hissed as he transformed. He put his sword on the chair and put all of his focus into freezing everything but her flesh, blocking out everything else, just keeping up his focus so he could do this.
