"There it is." Rat told Kota as he pointed at the empty stage that stood in front of them. "The Ocean stage. Ah, it's just waiting for us to claim it." Kota himself had trouble believing this. A free stage and not one Dance Team actually knew about its existence, and right now, they were the only two street dancers of Team Tango standing and gawking at the stage before them. This was far too easy for them. "It's like a free victory, Rat." "Indeed." Rat positively agreed. "Our team ain't the kind to steal stages from other teams, but since no one's here, we could just take it and it'll be ours with no struggle needed. It's pragmatic thinking at its finest." and he made his way to the stage and smelled the fresh air around them. "Ahhh...." "Let's hurry it up." Kota pressed, darting his eyes around their location. "I don't want another team taking this from us." "Relax, if another team wants this stage, too bad for them 'cause we found it first." Rat replied in a cocky manner. "And don't forget? We're special, remember?" and the Team Tango leader made his way to the stage's main amplifier, spotting a blank pass slotted into the said machine. Rat took out the blank pass and threw it behind it, replacing it with Team Tango's player pass. "There, this stage. Is. Officially. Ours." |

From afar, eyes look on the stage, and the two boys who were gloating about it. No one's here, but...it seems like they're gloating about it. It'd be nice to have a stage of her own, but what use would she have for it? The choice is clear, does the girl go down there? Or leave? That was for her to think about.

Kota quietly watched as the sign on the stage changed from 'FREE STAGE' to 'TEAM TANGO' in a split-second after their Player Pass was slotted in. Rat, on the other hand, was smiling in triumph that they now had a second stage belonging to them, and the latter quickly suggested. "Hey, Kota, how about a little jam? We're not busy, so why not throw some moves out on our new stage?"
Kota shrugged and went along with it, thinking that it wouldn't hurt to practice instead of Inves-gaming all day. With that the two took formation and began their signature dance.

Kari slowly descends from her perch, and walks over, taking a seat. Her eyes were upon them, analyzing their dance moves first...they weren't that bad.

Their dance moves were complicated, rigid, but extremely fast. It gave off a very upbeat feel and their moveset involved a lot of constant arm and leg slides one direction then switching to the opposite way. The Tango dancers were also running widely around at a quick and tiring pace, but it was easily disguised by their slides and constant flashy spins.
The Team Tango duo got some attention and a small gradually formed around the stage, but unfortunately they caught the attention of another team, one of the more bully-like posse, a group Kari might recognize from before.

She rolled her eyes. Those guys again. She'd thought of taking the stage from Tango, but this was something else entirely. Since she hated bullies after all.

The hostile group of punks immediately stormed Team Tango's recent stage and shoved the duo aside, much to the latter's surprise and anger.
"Yo, dude!" Rat retorted after being pushed to the sidelines. "What the fuck is your problem, man?!" and his statement caused some stir in the audience that was watching them. Rat would soon get his answer when one of the jerks took their Player Pass and tossed it to his face. "This stage now belong to us. Now scram, Tango-boy."

Kari shook her head and stood up. "Oi. Let's settle this with an Inves game." She said, going to one side of the stage near Tango's members.

"Well, well, well, if it ain't the Matsubokkuri bitch from last time." the leader of the punks scoffed, taking a step back. "You always gotta ruin the fun, huh?"
The leader's snide remark caused the audience to 'ooh' and 'aah' a bit, knowing that this meant serious business. Kota and Rat, on the other hand, noticed Kari on a more curious tone, with the latter asking. "Eh? Who're you?"

"It'll be more fun to get in your way this time." The girl said, ignoring Tango's queries of her as she instead straps on her Sengoku driver, and activates her Lockseed. "Matsubokkuri." Then she thrusts it up in the air before placing it on her Driver.
"Lock On."
Then she cuts the seed with a cry of "Henshin!"
"Soiya! Matsubokkuri Arms: Strike in the Shadow."
Resting the over-sized spear on her shoulder, she stares down the punks. "Now come at me. Or get out of here."

The leader was nowhere near frightened and spat. "A Sengoku Driver? Hah! Hasn't anyone ever told you that a trick never works twice? Too bad for you, we have new toys!"
He then proceeded to pull out a Himawari Lockseed, but then he also took out a blank Sengoku Driver, placing it on his waist and securing it in place. His lackeys did the same, much to Team Tango's shock.
"The heck?" Kota asked. "When did they all get Sengoku Drivers?!"
"It's time you return to the kitchen, lady." the leader taunted and together the team placed their lockseeds on their drivers before locking it into place.
'Lock On!'
They all pressed down their knives, cutting the lockseed open.
'HIMAWARI ARMS! WE ARE LEGION!!'
Half a dozen white-and-yellow riders stood before Kari, armed and ready for combat.

"The mistake you made is assuming that I only had the same trick. And for that, you'll pay." She activates a new Lockseed. "Ichigo!"
A crack forms above her head, a strawberry coming down as she puts the new Lockseed on her belt.
"Lock On." Then, as the others charge, she cuts the seed.
"Soiya."
Doing a full flip-kick in mid-air, she gives one of them pause, while landing as the strawberry lands on her head.
"Ichigo Arms: Shushutto Spark."
Now in this new form, she draws her kunai daggers and tosses them at the nearest two quickly, before the others surround her and her hilt rests on the Musou Saber, legs adequately positioned as a samurai would. Who would attack first?

The leader easily dodged the dagger thrown at him while his second-in-command went down, unable to react as fast as his boss. Regardless, the Himawari Riders charged and the leader was the first to throw a strike.
Kota and Rat watched the battle in awe while the audience cheered.

She pulls the lever back on the Saber's gun, and when the leader's strike first makes contact she shoots from the hip, cancelling out any lasting momentum he might have gained. Drawing the blade with her right hand, she slashed down the next two, before shooting the other two and then putting the last one in the clip in the second in command, who was still down. Side-stepping an attack or two, she pulled the lever back again and slashed at the leader as well.

The leader was surprisingly responsive while the rest of his team dropped like flies from the Strawberry Rider's assault. His shield managed to block the Saber's energy pellets and the slash that followed, and it was obvious enough that this leader wasn't your everyday all-talk guy and his next move was to back up, sheath his sword and sic some A-class lockseeds out. "Hmm, let's try this!" Unlocking the lockseeds, he summoned a trio of powerful Inves creatures to the field by his side. Gripping them tightly, he commanded. "Attack!"
Kota and Rat were stunned about the fact how prepared this bully was for a fight and how willing he would go to obtain the stage. It looked pretty bleak for the Strawberry Rider who would have to go against three berserker Inves monsters at once. "This isn't a fair fight," Kota said. "We gotta help!" "No need to tell me twice!" Rat affirmed and both stood up and reached into their jackets, pulling out their Genesis Drivers. |
