"Well then, we need to get creative. There has to be a way." Miri said. "She's not blocking our telepathy, so we can collaborate at least."
The woman returned, taking the mirror away and setting a box down. She opened it and began fiddling with something inside.

"Possibly. She seems to be a fairly powerful telepath, since she could control both of us." Miri thought. "But we were off-guard."
The woman continued to fiddle. For shiggles, Miri tried to see if she could use her light-bending. There was certainly enough ambient light for her to work with. But nothing worked.

The woman kissed Miri's mask as well, standing. "I wish I could join you two, so perfectly dolled, but you need to be punished."She went back into the box.
“Your guess is as good as mine, but I have a bad feeling I know the gist of it.” Miri thought once she could think straight again.
