Kayla's father finally had some sort of lead for her. He sent her off to Paris, claiming that what they sought was supposed to be hidden in the Bastille. Getting to it was going to be another problem entirely, considering it was supposed to be in a room (no idea which), and hidden at that. As Kayla had pondered how best to approach this, she'd spent the last few days in Paris, just hanging around and trying to work this one out. |

Why is it Adam always wound up in Europe after any adventure? Maybe he liked it too much to stay away. This time he had ended up in Paris. Lovely city, Paris. He needed to come here more often.

Kayla was sitting around at a cafe, trying to figure out an effective method. She always defaulted to Clocking Up and just racing through there. But then there was the problem of not knowing WHERE it was. She could check every room, but what if it was buried?
...what was it anyway?

Adam found himself at the same cafe, and in a situation that, were it happening to anyone else but him. Because of his clothing, he found himself being treated like a waiter, despite his constant refrain of "Je ne suis pas un garçon!"

In another coincidence, Levy was also at the same cafe. In fact he [i[]owned[/i] that cafe. He owned several similar eateries all across Western Europe.
He was walking the floor when he bumped into a waiter. Levy was sure he never saw that person before, but then again he couldn't be bothered to remember the face of all of his hirelings.

"Excuse me, monsieur." Adam dodged his way around Levy, making his way round to Kayla's table.
"Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not a waiter." he said in fluent French.

Finally having a moment to himself, Adam ordered a coffee from an actual waiter.

Levy wasn't that big a fan of coffee, it was like drinking molten lava. Why he owned a cafe that served mainly coffee related items.. well it made tons of money, especially in Paris, the cafe capitol of the universe.
"Enjoying your cup?" he asked the waiter who apparently was not a waiter.
