She shouted and tried to break free. She tilted her wrist up and started to fire at him, but one of the shots hit the scale.

"Yes it is!" she screamed at him.
The scale was cracked and leaking light. It exploded, shooting a stream into Kayla's body, and then more streams shot into the sky and vanished.

He was silent for a few moments before finally sighing.
"Fine, fine, fine. You can have it. I don't like working for such shady melodramatic clients anyway."

The scale was definitely different, though. The rainbow color was gone, it was just dark gray, dead-looking.
