"This mana realm will not last much longer." Salem said, his voice now deep and booming. He assumed a battle-ready stance. "But I will not allow you to pass beyond this point."
The woman was stark naked, and began to stir.

Kakeru gazed, astounded. "Claudia?"

Claudia blinked. She reached a hand, grabbing Kakeru's Conjure: Item ring and slipping onto her finger, quickly creating a mirror. "Oh, hot damn. I look good in blonde." She commented, not at all noticing her complete lack of clothing.

Kakeru chuckled. "You also look good in clothes, which you currently lack."
Doppelganger laughed. "So you say. But let's see if you can handle me in such a state." With a snap, he formed tow arcing bolts of black electricity-like darkness, forming them into a wicked maw and launching them at Salem.

Salem raised his sword above his head and brought it down, the blade shining as it launched a powerful wave of light to negate the shadow-maw.
"Oh dear. That I do." She quickly conjured up a latex dress that reached to her mid-shins, along with undergarments for her bottom half. She then handed Kaki's ring back. "I need to get me some of those."

Kakeru's ear twitched, and he had an off feeling. "Claudia, follow me. No time to explain."
Doppelganger deflected the light wave, and shot a bolt of black at Salem.

Salem took it on his shield, sliding a little bit. He began chanting a mana-siphoning spell, beginning to pull mana from the air both to support himself and to depower Doppelgänger.
Claudia nodded, following Kaki after another quick look in her mirror. She played with her hair a moment, and then moved after Kaki.

Doppelganger laughed, ripping the mana from the air and visibly devouring it. "Such pitiful old spells won't do you any good at all. You'd be better off waving a little prop wand and making flowers appear."
Kakeru arrived a few seconds later, huffing. "Try this on for size, then! Zafagar, zolanoral, zagarin!" With the incantation of those words, which even Kakeru had no idea where they came from, Doppelganger was sapped of all the excess mana, returning to his original form and being sucked into the Shadow Band, returning to Kakeru's shadow.

Salem returned to his original cat appearance in a flash of light, floating at about Kaki's eye level. "I'd keep him in there for a lon... Oh wow."
Claudia had turned the corner as Salem was talking. "Did I miss something?"
"Oh. The magic built her a new form, then." Salem said. He looked Kakeru in the eyes, knowing exactly what he knew.

Kakeru sighed. "Well, think we should get you examined by Zed?" Doppelganger chimed in, speaking from within Kakeru's shadow. "Sorry about that, boss. The mana pool overloaded the binding rings."

"I feel fit as a fiddle, though I'm gonna need my implants out back in before I can use RAM again." Claudia said, taking a moment to check behind her ear and confirming it. "Other than that, I feel fine."
"You'll have to tell Whipcrack what happened." Salem said.
"Oh, that'll be easy."

Kakeru chuckled. "Whipcrack and Soldato, easy. Artie? No. 'Oh, I'm sorry, Artie, your adopted daughter tried to use magic and ended up transfiguring herself into a blonde bombshell with an amazing pair of knockers.'"

"That explains the Reaver." Salem commented.
"But still, if Artie wants his agent active again, he'll have to." Claudia said.
