"Well, I have magic at my disposal now. I could use illusions to look the way I used to for her." Claudia replied.
"Illusions require concentration. You lose focus a moment, it fades." Salem said. "If I remember correctly. It's been a while since I've done anything with illusions."

"Actually, no. That was a legitimate transformation." Salem said. "Well, more of a channeling, but it was still closer to a transformation than an illusion."
"So, illusions are still out. Disguise?" Claudia asked.
"That would require one hell of a disguise. And what happens when Gaige rolls in on you and him going to pound town and you have it off?" Salem asked.
"The cat makes an excellent point."

"Such vulgarity from a kitty. Bad kitty!" Kakeru laughed, Conjuring a spritz bottle and spritzing at Salem. "Otherwise, you have a point. Girl's annoyingly good at picking locks."

The water froze in midair before it could hit Salem, the ice crystals dropping to the floor. "It was the most succinct way to get my point across."
"Well, here's a crazy idea. We could just straight tell her." Claudia said. "I mean, for all intents and purposes, I'm still the same person, I just have a new body. The worst that could happen is she's a hikkikomori for the rest of her life."
"That's pretty bad, you do realize, correct?" Salem said.
"Of course I realize it. You need to tune your sarcasm detector."

Kakeru lead Claudia back up to their room, keeping an eye on her in case she had any issues with her new body.

The walk went by uneventfully. Claudia had no significant problems with her new body. "I would've thought suddenly gaining magic would've had some sort disorienting effect, but I guess I averted it by gaining a whole new body."

Kakeru grinned, pulling out his Conjure;Item ring, and finishing Claudia's outfit with a pair of mitts that restricted her hands, and a hood that covered her head, except for an opening at her mouth, with a ring gag, and a small one at her nose. "Much better."
