Overview:
There’s a reason that Juan changed his name to Vibora. He’s very much like a viper, like a serpent. He’s detestable for the things he does, acting swiftly and without warning. His bite is deadly; if he makes a move against you, he’s not screwing around. He means to see you dead, and he will see you dead.

Vibora is someone who will risk everything for the sake of his family. He’s fiercely loyal and dependable until the end. He’s always there for his blood, and puts them above all else. Good luck forming any sort of bonds with him if you’re not family, he often will refuse. Family is all he claims to need, and that makes him all the more dangerous, arguably. You can’t trust him if you’re not family.

He’s a dangerous man, a man who will beat you to the ground for one ill-timed comment or joke. Or sometimes he won’t. That’s the thing about him, one of the reasons why he’s dangerous. You can never tell with him. He might laugh at your joke and you go on your way, or he might laugh and then stab you. He likes to have a knife and a gun on him at all times, so this is a very real possibility.

He is somewhat bloodthirsty, but can control it. He lives to fight, and as such Glatorian is the perfect suit for him to wield, due to the gladiator theme it holds. He holds true to those beliefs, wishing he had been born in those times, born as a slave so he could be a gladiator. He tries to recreate that in the here and now.

He’s a sly, treacherous man. On top of his unpredictability, there’s another reason not to trust him. He will turn people against you as soon as he would kill you himself. Some people don’t deserve outright, quick pain that he can inflict; some deserve slow pain, the slow destruction of their world around them.

Sometimes he will gladly just rush headlong into a fight without thinking. He comes off as brash sometimes, but it often works out for him because he’s a very skilled fighter, and his determination is incredible. It’s not always the smartest thing for him to do, but he tries to make it work.

Despite all of this, he is a very loving man, and capable of great affection. He shows it often to his sister, and will even show nothing but love and care for his brother-in-law, and of course his niece and nephew. If nothing else, he acts as someone who will try to carve a better world for their sakes. They’re all he has.

It is interesting to note that he is the only man whom Takatora Kureshima fears.

Most of his history is sealed by Foundation X. What is known is that he was born Juan Munoz, but changed his name at some unknown point to Vibora Gresh. He was convicted of murder when he was sixteen (he was protecting his sister), but was cleared of charges by outside intervention.

He was recruited by the cartel (or mob, or mafia, whatever. His living location is unknown, after all) after they freed him, and he worked for them for a time. He killed people for them, and began to enjoy the thrill of it. It’s likely this was the time he changed his name.

He did everything to protect his sister, because their parents were dead. She was aware of all of this, but never spoke of it. He tried to hide it, but she knew. Somehow. But they were both relatively safe, and happy.

She married a man later on, and Vibora became close to him, and approving of the union. At some point his association with crime ended, and the three of them entered business together through her husband, Cal. He became a protective uncle of his niece and nephew upon their births.

During the 1990’s, they were recruited into Foundation X. Vibora found pleasure in this work, and was always somewhat close to his family. Later on, in the present, he became a higher ranked member and became one of their liaisons to Zawame City and Yggdrasil, being equipped with a Sengoku Driver and the Durian Lockseed.

As Glatorian, he’s thrilled to be able to fight, and to have more action in his life again.
