Overview: Ceres is a stoic warrior who fights to protect the Earth from any that dare threaten it. If you even throw a can into the grass, she will destroy you. This overzealousness often gets her conflict with the other Goseigers and any other heroes she encounters. She often converses with her "mother", which makes her look a schizo crazy woman to anyone watching. She may now have a human body for the time being, but she does not consider herself human.

The Groundion Header was forged in ancient times by Egyptian smiths as a gift for their king, a statue to warn off any that dare oppose him with its fearsomeness. When Egypt was invaded by visitors from another planet, it was the Earth itself that imbued Groundion with life. The newly living Groundion fought off the invaders, saving Egpyt and the Earth for the time being. The Ancient Egyptians revered Groundian as Maahes, the lion headed war god.

Groundion that returned into the Earth's bossom - to sleep until a threat to the planet once again presented itself. Groundion awoke many more times after that, fighting off invader after invader, over the centuries.

Flashforward to the not so distant past where hard hitting journalist Jessi Thompson accidentally discovers Groundion's resting place underneath the Sphinx. When she placed her hand on his head, a mysterious light enveloped them, fusing the two together!

Now Groundion finds himself in the body of a human woman, just as he/she finds the Earth plagued with monsters and neglectful humans. With this new-found form, he/she was granted the Leon Cellular which allows him/her to transform into the Earth purifying knight of destiny, GoseiKnight!

Jessi sleeps deep within their body so now Groundion is in control. He/she has dubbed themselves Ceres, after the Roman goddess of agriculture, after finding Jessi too lame to be a champion's name.
