Overview:
Adrien is a man living a life he doesn’t know how to live. He gets by any way he can, being resourceful. He’s smart and knows how to get by, usually with charm. He’s grown accustomed to being with people, and using them, but he doesn’t like to. He knows how to be with people, and likes to. It reminds him of the life he wishes he had.

He’s a good man, someone of honor and values, loyal. He doesn’t like working for Interpol, as they believe him to be a murderer. He’s anything but, and even with training has issues in fighting and hurting people. He doesn’t want to do this, but he wants to live. He fears what would happen to him if he refused to fight.

His hope is to get out of Interpol and out of the Busters someday. He hopes that once the Data Avatars are defeated that he’ll have that opportunity. Does he think they’ll keep him? Yes, he does. But he has hope. Hope is the only thing for him at this point. The hope that he’ll see Cécile again is a big one.

He has few people inside of Interpol that he likes or talks to, and travels a lot. He enjoys the traveling, the learning of other cultures. He’s hopeful that he’ll end up in France someday soon, and hopes to run into anyone from his family. It’s all that keeps him going, really.

He’s a skilled combatant with hand to hand, blades and firearms, and a skilled pilot for Ace. He’s learned more about the job, about technology, everything that he might need to act as a spy and infiltrator. He knows various languages and cultures, though he’s less sure on the cultures than he’d like to be.

Henshin Sequence: He twists the dial, causing the glasses to deploy and for a red aura to start circling around his body in the form of code. The Brace states “It’s Morphin Time!” at the same time he does as he lifts the glasses in front of his eyes, causing his helmet to appear and for the glasses to form the eyes of the helmet.

  Fighting Style: He prefers to fight based on the situation, using his speed in conjunction with the various tools inside of his Brace, along with the sidearms for various forms of combat.
  Weapons:
  • Ichigan Buster: a camera which becomes a firearm. Capable of being used as a camera to read energy signatures and the like via pictures or looking through it in video function mode. As a sidearm it fires data-like yellow shots. By changing the F/Stop he can change how powerful the weapon is by changing the Aperture of the camera. The lower the F/Stop, the stronger the blast. The higher, the smaller and more refined the blast. He can change the ISO settings to draw in more power from the environment; any sort of power compatible with the weapon, such as Enetron.
    
  • Sougan Blade: a pair of binoculars which can read energy signatures from a distance when in use, and zoom in and out. It becomes a long combat knife for close range battle.
    
  • Ichigan Buster Special Mode: the combination of both weapons, able to fire a stronger blast which is meant to be a kill shot.
    
  • Transpod: hitting it allows him to summon his arsenal to the field.
  
  His Brace gives him a series of wires as well, letting him use grappling and binding.

  The suit is based on being lighter and smaller, like a normal Sentai suit. But underneath the leather are layers of electron webs and cells, which also form over the leather to give him more protection. Underneath are wires and circuitry, running through the suit, giving him help in his stats.
  
  His helmet is separate from his visor. The visor is self-contained, giving analytical views and scans. He’s able to read situations and signatures in moderate range, unlike the larger range that his weaponry provides him.
  
  In his legs, specifically, he has extra circuitry and units built into his suit. This allows him to utilize high speed bursts by focusing the suit’s energy into the legs. This extra circuitry doesn’t show anything, and the boots help contain it, thus keeping his legs less bulky than they should be.

Adrien was born in Paris with a sister a few years younger than him. He wasn’t sure what to think of her, seeing as he was about five when she was born. He had his parents love and attention, but could see it lessening. He didn’t like that.

But he grew to love his sister Cécile dearly in the end, and they were close. His parents managed to figure out how to share their love well enough to make both children happy.

Their parents provided well for them, their father being an architect, their mother being a photographer. They did well for their children, and had enough time for them. Yet even with time, the children preferred each other’s company.

When he was eighteen and his sister thirteen, their parents divorced. Their mother cheated on their father and began an affair, but refused to try to work through things. He didn’t want a divorce, but it happened. A year later their father remarried. They stopped seeing their mother, even though she loved them, due to a hard custody battle.

That only affected his sister, but Adrien chose to stay away. He felt for his sister, and tried to be with her as much as he could. But eventually he couldn’t find her, and asked their father. He didn’t know where she was either, so Adrien looked for her in fear. He ended up at their mother’s where he found her. She had abducted her daughter.

Adrien did his best in this situation, but couldn’t get the mother to listen. He threatened to call the authorities, but she didn’t listen to that either. He did just that, but they were gone by that point. He did his best to find them, ending up out of college due to not attending anymore, his life becoming about searching.

The police asked him to stay out of it, but he couldn’t. He continued to search for his Cécile as long as he could, not getting far.

His father and his step-mother were worried, and did what they could. They offered money for help and information, but they didn’t get anywhere. It was as if his mother and Cécile had vanished completely.

A year later he found them. In Spain. He had managed to track them to there with someone who reported seeing them. And he found them and confronted his mother. Cécile wanted to go with him, but his mother refused to let her go. In a drastic attempt, he took Cécile with him and tried to get out of the country.

Their mother didn’t give up and tied to stop them. She had a gun, demanding Adrien to stop, saying that Cécile was her daughter, and she deserved to have at least one of her children. Adrien tried to stop her, but she tried to use force. In the struggle he got the gun and kept her back.

She demanded to know how her son could do something like that. How someone that was part her could do this. That angered him. He told her he wasn’t like her, that he wasn’t a part of her, even as her child. He wouldn’t do something like that. In his anger, he shot her dead.

He was arrested by the Spanish authorities while Cécile was sent back home. But he was in prison for murder. His father and step-mother didn’t see him, though they did thank him for getting back Cécile, despite his methods. They didn’t entirely believe the story, and besides, he had shot her, not out of self-defense.

After spending a few years in prison, he was suddenly released. Interpol took him in and began to train him in combat of all sorts. Martial arts, weaponry. He wasn’t sure what was happening, or why, but he was free. They thought he was a killer, someone who could even kill a loved one. That was why they freed him. He tried to correct them, but they didn’t believe him. They thought he was lying to make himself look less monstrous.

He was drafted into the Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters as a warrior for them. A hunter and killer for Interpol, when it was called for. He worked his way up, deciding that he could never see Cécile again for the sins he committed, and because he would continue them. He was in too far to quit.

He became the field leader of the Busters, and was trained as an expert pilot for the sake of his mecha. He’s currently involved in fighting the Data Avatars, along with anything else Interpol wants him to.
