Well, Kamen Rider Mage is both, a mook suit, and it had individual users who acted as Tertiary Riders.

I couldn't stomach any more Wizard, I quit long before that happened. Such a terrible season.
In the movie, it was a mook suit, in the show proper it was 3 individual suits. I guess they barely did anything.

I think it started rather well, personally. The first...15ish were fine, then it got really repetitive.

I watched a little bit. The main character and his sister were really likeable.

She's actually not his sister.
She was one reason the show was so bad as it went on. She was supposed to be a huge part of it, and the actress couldn't commit. They should have hired someone else, so the show fell flat in that regard.

Toei, the company who makes these shows, values pretty actors over anything else. They wanted someone who visually fit what they wanted, show be damned.
It backfired. Badly.

There have to be any number of 'pretty actors'. You usually don't get into that business if you're not someone the public views as beautiful.

Yeah. That's true. I think another reason they chose her was because she's an idol (whatever the fuck that means) and they like using them as a career springboard, and to draw in viewers.
