Well, it's been five months, so that means Caty Cole is dead. Sailor Astarte and her face claim are open again.
And this is the...third time this has happened. Seriously. Five months to get a relatively small plot done. Establish her mission, go slightly into her past, turn Mercury evil, have her kill/revive Mercury, then have her die. So that's like three threads, maybe four. In five months.
I'm sorry, but screw you guys.

Screw me, you say? I really don't see the problem here, besides yes a lack of progress but then two of the participants haven't even been here in weeks (one with a very good excuse too), the way this entire site is set up is to have threads take place whenever and not conform to some strict timetable. You can have twenty freakin' threads taking place in the last 5 months and not actually post these topics until five months from now. If I wanted I could do a thread taking place before every other thread right at this very moment and not finish it for several weeks with only minutes passing in-story. You can still do all of these and still have her day on her due date (in-story, not real life), it doesn't matter in the slighest if the real March 5th has passed. I know from experience that plots involving more than 2 or 3 people often meet tons of snags, or even when it's just between two people. You don't think I get pissed when Night and Skye do like twenty Black Fang topics and we can't even finish one between the two of us or that one Wizard Hunter thread it took five months to finish? You couldn't do a couple threads in five months, that was just one! It's what happens when there are too many dang people in the same plot/thread. But still, it doesn't matter at all that today is the deadline when this is real life and Caty exists in a fictional world that we control to the fullest extant. The plot can still be done (though it would be best if all the topics weren't group topics). My MagiPink is pregnant and pregnancy usually last only nine months in real life. Four months from now, am I going to have her just have the baby? Maybe, but I can hold it off until I feel it's the right time, in-story. I don't have to conform to a strict timetable, this isn't a place of business. It's a game bro, chill. So to sum it all up: Fuck deadlines. They just don't work out. Rant/over (click please)

The timeline is VERY fluid around here. Jessica Butcher has less than two years left, but do you see me setting a date? No, ya don't, because I know things can go wrong. There are three participants in the OOO War right now instead of the intended seven. Do you see me bitching? No, ya don't.
Setting real life dates for a fictional date doesn't work. When will Jessica start to go blind? When the plot says so.
You wanna bitch about plotlines not going anywhere? I haven't gotten Anna's evil brother storyline going yet. I haven't gotten the Pack's storyline going yet. I'm not even close to starting the Chronos storyline.
Like Quetz said, fuck deadlines.

A lot of things that I do are dictated by time, because that's the type of person I am. Of course I can go back and make those threads, but I don't want to. Time's up, it's done. Does it make absolute sense? No, but it makes sense to me.
