Relationships:
Overview: Salamamnder looks out for one person and one person only – himself. He’s a mercenary, he doesn’t need anyone but the people who are paying him and the people he’s taking out. His fees are exorbitant, but he gets the job done. He pretends not to pay attention to his employers’ motives when they hire him, but he usually does keep them somewhere in the back in case he needs them for some reason.
Salamander dislikes stealthy assassinations. He instead prefers to give his Marks a fighting chance, either by alerting them to his presences or starting off with the kid gloves. If you asked him why he did, he’d simply tell you that it’s “more sporting”.

Theurge Driver and Change Ring: A left handed Hand Author (Spell Rings on the left, Phantom Rings on the right).
Thaumaturgy Watch: A wristwatch that contains his captured Phantoms and is used to create Thaumaturge Form.
Henshin Sequence: Salamander lowers the visor on his Change Ring, revealing the shape of his helmet. He then swipes his Driver On Ring over his Hand Author, materializing the Theurge Driver. “Henshin!” Salamander swipes his Change Ring over the Hand Author. A gray energy circle materializes in front of him, passing over him and transforming him into Theurge as his Hand Author declares “Theurge! Ka-ka-ka kaen (blaze)!” When he detransforms, his suit turns into a bunch of tiny crystals which fall and vanish.
Forms: Theurge’s two forms are Theurge and Thaumaturge. Instead of switching Styles or summoning Mants or the like with his offhand rings, he uses them to summon Phantoms to his beck and call.

Fighting Style: Salamander takes his sword and hacks away at the enemy before overwhelming them with his Phantoms. This also allows him to buy time before simply tearing them apart with Thaumaturge Style.
Weapons: ThauSwordGun, a flipped around version of the WizarSwordGun designed for left handed use.
Abilities: In all of Theurge’s forms, Salamander has black fire magic. With this form he usually channels it through his ThauSwordGun in the form of sword beams, blasts, burning slashes, etc instead of actually handling it. However the main strength of the Theurge Style is his ability to use his own stored Phantoms as biological weapons. In this form he can use a maximum of two of them at once, a limit placed on the Driver to keep the user from being attacked by his own wards.

Transformation: Salamander equips his Special Ring onto his left hand before swiping it over the tattooed seal on his right hand and the clock face of the Thaumaturgy Watch. The watch’s face glows in the image of the Special Ring’s engraving as long as this form is activated, with his tattoos glowing through his suit as he does. A gray circle appears at his feet before travelling up his body and encasing him in murky gray cut diamond. The diamond then shatters and reveals Thaumaturge form, all while the Hand Author and declares “Thaumaturge! Todo-Todo-Todo, Todoroki (roar)!” This form cannot be transformed into directly – Salamander must transform into it from Theurge Form. When he detransforms, his suit turns into a bunch of tiny crystals, similar to the earlier diamond, which fall and vanish.
Fighting Style: Since Salamander can’t maintain this form for long, he usually summons all of his Phantoms in quick succession, summons his opponent’s Phantom and turns it against them, or if he’s feeling ballsy, both!
Weapons: Twin ThauSwordGuns like before. He can perform new finishers with them using his Phantom Rings.
Abilities: Summoning as many of his Phantoms as he wants, mind controlling other people’s Phantoms, Ring Magic, flight, and black fire magic.
Finisher(s): He also has finishers for his Phantoms, but I’ll write them up when they come up.
Void Finale: Using his Kick Strike ring, Salamander draws power from all ofof his Phantoms and any Inner Phantoms someone else has called out. He flies into the air with his wings, summoning the Theurge magic circle, the circle from his back, and the one from his hand. The three line up and he flies through them and performs a magically charged rider kick.
Silent Slash/Shoot: Salamander slashes the enemy, his blades charged with darkness OR shoots them with two single shots of darkness that engulf anything they hit.

Abilities: The Chesire Phantom, like his namesake, is able to freely appear and disappear at will. He is also the smartest of Salamander’s eight, and one of two that can speak, fighting using his own guile. Chesire is also a metal elemental.

The shield also changes depending on the last Phantom summoned – Blitzen’s wall of vines, Chesire’s pile of sharp shrapnel and pointy things, Foo’s eruption of lava from the ground, Huginn’s miniature gale of wind that knocks attacks/opponents away, Kirin’s wall of water, Raiju’s electromagnetic ball that blocks attacks and damages enemies, Roc’s sheet of ice, and Vinz’s wall of stone that can trap enemies.
- Bind Ring: Ties up a target, with the chains varying based on the element of his powers. Theurge/Foo’s are metal, Blitzen’s are vines, Chersire’s are spiky barbed wire, Huginn’s are made of wind, Kirin’s are liquid, Raiju’s are electrified, Roc’s are ice, and Vinz’s are made of stone.
- Teleport Ring: Allows Salamander to teleport to various places, usually to escape. Like with Bind and Defend the last Change Ring used changes the effect, though it doesn’t mean much.
- Dress Up Ring: Changes Salamander’s clothes.
- Silent Ring: Either forces his movements to be silent for as long as he wishes, or silences a target for a few minutes.
- Fall Ring: Creates a hole people can fall into.
- Vampire Ring: Creates the Black Vampire PlaMonster, which takes the form of a small robotic bat. Its main purpose is to “drink” the blood of an enemy, be it by collecting spilled blood or actually biting their necks.

History
Not much is known about Salamander before he became a Phantom. He speaks fluent English with an American accent, seems educated, and has experience with high class etiquette, implying that he was born into a rich family. Since he has no name and he has stopped aging it is impossible to find legal records on him that aren’t some form of John Doe. It is assumed he was a Wizard before he was a Phantom.
At some point after Salamander became a Phantom, Salamander took part in a dark ritual that allowed him to sell his name to an unknown dark power in exchange for stronger magic and higher reserves of mana. After achieving this power he started working as a magical assassin, taking out anyone someone from the magical world needed dead in exchange for money, magic, and stone. Why he is collecting stone is unclear.
