The arctic held a valuable secret. Not many people knew about it, and those who did kept it to themselves. There was a place, tucked far away in the chilling cold of the icy polar regions, that held something more valuable than riches or glory.
Adam had gone in search of this place, more out of curiosity than anything. If it was what he thought it was, then he needed to see it with his own eyes.

Interpol had various outposts and sensors, and when one went off in Antarctica, and the person who triggered it came back as something not quite human, Tear was sent to see what was going on.

Who knew Antarctica was so big? As Adam trekked through the icy plains, he paused a moment to get bearings. Just up ahead, there was a giant icy cliff-face. That was where he needed to be.

Hikaru had been shrugging off his Interpol duties for far too long so of course they had to station him in this frozen hell.
When some alarm or whatever had been tripped, Hikaru followed Tear (clearly against his will) out into the chilling cold.

The cliff-face soon yielded the entrance to a narrow cave, which Adam entered. He could feel he was getting closer.
