Two years ago, a well known eccentric scientist by the name of Doctor Ulshade discovered an usual phenomenon - a tear in reality itself.
Being rather impatient to gather data the safe way and slightly mad, Ulshade leaped right in. What he found on the other side astonished him to a rather large degree, but left the rest of the scientific community to label him as a nut.
What Ulshade discovered was an another universe. As it turns out he wasn't the only one to make such a discovery. Eventually word spread across the web of portals opening up all over the world.
Ulshade spent the next six months studying this strange and wonderful phenomenon and came to several conclusions.
1. The portals lead to an another universe.
2. Not all go to the same universe.
3. There seems to be an untold number of other universes.
4. Traveling back through the portal once you reach the other side will return you to whence you came.
5. The size of the portals vary with as some as big or wide as trucks or small as peas.
6. The locations they appear vary.
7. They seem to never appear in the same spot twice.
8. They always seem to happen in close proximity of each other.
9. They do not stay open permanently with the time they stay open varying from several milliseconds to days.
10. They seem to be attracted to people with great power.
11. They not only occur in our universe, but the other universes as well.
