Nichol laughed. "It is. My mother is only half-Japanese, and I was born and raised in Spain, the land of my father. As for yourself, that name's a bit long. Why don't we shorten it?"

Ucchi bowed in response and sat down down.
"Please make yourself comfortable," he waved his hand towards the opposite side of the table, "My worn down shrine is your worn down shrine..though technically it is."

Nichol sat, and looked around a bit. "It really isn't in great shape. Such a pity. Well, luckily, I can fix that. I'll hire a crew to renovate this old shrine and make it look as good as new."

"That is good to hear," Ucchi nodded and talked in between bites, "It will please the Gods and they will bestow good fortune upon us."
He took a drink before asking, "I am quite curious Nichol-dono, has our family continued the honorable and noble tradition of the samurai?"
