I'm of the latter, since I was raised in another country." Nichol spoke calmly, wondering how much his ancestor did and didn't know about the modern age.

He smiled, "At least it seems the Deboss were not successful in their mission to cause the extinction of the human race."

Nichol's eyes widened at the mention of the Deboss, and he reached inside his jacket, slipping out Parasagun's Battery. "I'd heard my ancestor was involved in some unknown war. Figures it was against them." He spoke whimsically, twirling the Battery around in his fingers.

Nichol laughed a bit, catching a bowl of rice before it struck the ground. "I might not be a samurai, but I'm still following in my ancestor's footsteps. Yeah, the Deboss came back, and some new heroes were chosen to fight 'em. I was picked by this guy, still not sure why."

He picked himself up and brushed himself off.
"The Deboss are back and Nichol-dono is a Kyoryuger?! I'm not sure if I should be melancholy or glad.." he shook his head, "No, I am proud you are following in my steps, Nichol-dono. I am sure you are a fine Kyoryuger like I once was."

Nichol sighed, before putting away the Battery. "I...could be better. There are a few particular "problems" I still have to deal with, but I manage to get the job done, at least."

"I...Listen, you can't tell anyone. Parasagun isn't my actual partner. He's been supporting me since I was young, because my partner is uncontrollable. But lately, his power's been fading from supporting me. He needs to find a proper partner, but he refuses to leave me with my partner until I can properly synchronize."
