Overview: Lady has some interesting views on the world. She's an avid believer in bondage strengthening the relationship between a couple, and will often try and convince people to try it out. She was also taught an interesting version of revenge by her mother, best explained by a hypothetical scenario; if someone were to punch you, you beat them into a pulp. According to her mother, it's the only way to "get the message across", and Lady feels the same way.
She's a big believer in artistic expression as well. She supports any and all kinds of art, and will generously donate money to any artistic cause she finds merit in.

Her head is covered by a tight hood, which doesn't have defined eyes, just one-way segments over her eyes that allow her to see, but all others see is a blank mask, as well as sections over her nose that allow her to breathe, but look like just solid material.

Adelaide was born to a French artist and an American woman who had met while her mother was vacationing in France. Her parents soon separated, with joint custody of Adelaide. Her father was the first to call her "Lady", and her mother took a shine to it as well. Her father taught her photography to give her a hobby, while her mother taught her social and academic skills. Her mother rarely allowed her to watch TV, but her father let her watch detective serials with him. Watching the damsel in distress struggle against her bonds had a profound effect on young Lady.
By the time she was 13, she'd begun experimenting with self-bondage. She always did it at her father's house, because she knew he'd be more understanding. When her father finally did find out, he embraced it heartily, teaching her to accept what she was and to never judge anyone else. As Lady grew older, she cycled through several relationships, with both girls and boys, but kept up the bondage. Her father's 18th birthday present was a visit to a local bondage club. However, within months of her 18th, her mother insisted Lady return to America with her so she could attend college. Lady made sure to spend her summers with her father.
In America, as she attended university, she began modeling, soon working to be in a position to be taking the photos by the time she was in her senior year. She graduated with a major in business, with a minor in hotel and restaurant management, and started working at a local bondage club. The club she was working at soon went out of business, so Lady used her savings to buy the building and opened her own BDSM club in the same building. Her club grew faster than she expected, and she now makes a rather decent income on patrons, events and photo shoots for various bondage publications. A few months after opening, she received a package from her father. He explained in a letter that she was actually descended from the infamous Marquis de Sade, and she'd inherited... interesting powers. Inside the package was the Marquis Legacy. Upon finding she could transform, she began taking martial arts courses and practicing in the use of her new powers.
