Overview: It’s hard to make an accurate assessment of Aria’s personality, since she never talks. One thing that is certain though is she’s scared of her own power. She can destroy planets at the cost of her own life, and this frightens her. She’s also not a fan of what she considers to be unnecessary noise. This usually means talking or loud music. She has earplugs for most things to help, but when it gets to be too much, she will take measures.

Aria was born to a Japanese mother and American father, but her father died in a car-crash when she was young. Her mother moved back to Nagoya, bringing Aria with her. As a child, she was never very social. She was always very quiet and never really talked to people. This led to the birth of a number of rumors about her and her home life, until the point that her teacher called her over in class to talk about her family life. Her mother was furious about it, and ranted to her boss, resulting in a reprimand.
Her grandfather offered to give her a hobby by teaching her to fight. Aria accepted, and began learning at the age of 7. She was always far stronger than it seemed like she should have been normally, but her grandfather simply laughed it off. When she turned 11, her mother gave her a bracelet with an amethyst on it, which she said she’d received as a mysterious package in the mail.
As she trained with her grandfather at his mountain home, she came to enjoy the silence. When she returned to society, the noise annoyed her greatly. She began to carry around earplugs, but she found some cases would require more active measures.
She’s only recently discovered her power as Sailor Saturn, but learned its full implications quickly. And it scared her.
