"You bitch!" the Ladybug Fangire screeched as the blade cut through her shoulder blade before kicking Mirai away, releasing Kaori.

Mirai rolled backwards and came to rest by Haruka's side.
"Are you alright, nee-chan?" Haruka darted to her older sister and helped her up.
"The monster called me a mean word." Mirai pouted. "I'll make it pay."

Kaori quickly whipped out her blaster and shot the Ladybug Fangire in the belly before darting out of the way of the bug's next attacks.
She screeched before taking to the skies once again and firing off random energy blasts in all directions.

"Look out!" Kanata dived behind the garbage cans. The others moved to find cover and hid from the energy blasts.

Kaori ducked behind Eiji as the aerial onslaught continued.
"You don't mind if I use you as a human shield, right?"

"I'm not human!" Eiji immediately moved into an offensive position and launched himself into the air, attempting to strike.

The Ladybug Fangire didn't have time to react as Eiji struck into her lower abdomen.
Kaori then took the opportunity fly into the air and slash the Fangire's right arm clean off.
"AAAAAARAAAYOOOOOUBIIIITCH!" she screeched.

Eiji fell to the ground and regrouped with his companions.
"Okay, girls. Let's do this!" he said.
"Right!" the girls agreed. They all got into position to perform a Biostream Blast. Mirai stood up, with Eiji and Kanata kneeling at her sides. "Get out of the way!"

Kaori nodded before zipping high up in the air. The Ladybug Fangire attempted to keep her there, but Kaori managed to wiggle out of her grasp.
"Now!" Kaori yelled.

Kaori widened her mouth in awe as the blast vaporized the Ladybug Fangire.

Kaori followed their lead and did a lap around the sky before joining them.
"Thanks guy, I couldn't have beat her without your help!"

"We're just glad you were on hand to help us out." Mirai smiled as she and the rest of the group demorphed.
