Overview:
Morgana is highly disciplined and motivated mage. She is first and foremost a mage. That is the most important aspect of her life. It defines her beyond anything else. Since her parents were murdered and her cousin, the one remaining person she was close to and trusted, horribly betrayed her she relies on herself and trusts no one. This is not to say that she is anti-social. She is fairly introverted. However, she loves discussing books and research with other people. She will gladly hold conversations with those that are knowledgeable of subjects of interest to her. However, she won't assume that even people she gets along with will help. She assumes that everyone will turn on her and betray her the moment it suits their interest.
Given what happened to her parents she is terrified of non-mages discovering her magical nature. She dose her best to keep her talents hidden, relying on spells to erase memories when things get out of hand.
Although a disciplined and motivated mage with impressive will power, she has no set goal beyond acquiring magical knowledge. There is nothing in particular she wants to with her information. She just wants to learn as much as possible and master as much magic as possible. She doesn't discriminate between light and dark magic, preferring to know as much about both as possible.
Morgana doesn't consider herself to have any morals beyond preserving knowledge, particularly magical knowledge as fewer people know about it and more try to destroy it. If monsters or dark mages are attacking the town and destroying the innocent she doesn't care. She will only get involved in the conflict if a building with books or precious information is being assaulted or if the monsters or dark mage are in danger of harming an important scholar who has much to offer the world in the ways of research. She wouldn't want the knowledge to die with them.
If Morgana can obtain the books and resources she needs for her research and spell craft through legal means great. It's that much less work for her. She has no problem with purchasing and trading with mages or normal people in the usual way. However, if what she requires can't be obtained legally she has no qualms about using her magic to steal it. She will do whatever is necessary to improve her magic and knowledge. If she needs to kill someone to get what she wants, she'll do that without batting an eye. However, she does not relish the kill. It's just a necessity, a means to an end.
She cannot stand people who would ban books, limit precious information, or try to burn them and destroy the information. If she finds people intentionally participating in such dreadful things she will kill them on sight. She will be very, very angry but she will not attempt to torture them or kill them for revenge. She will end their lives so they can never do such awful things again. She will kill them for the sake of saving future books, of sparing the world from the loss of precious knowledge.
She cares so dearly for books and the ideas they express, regardless of what they are of if she even agrees with their ideas. All ideas have a right to be communicated. People should be able to access them and decide for themselves what they will accept. So she feels physically pained if she sees a book being damaged or ill treated. If she sees such a thing, she doesn't assume it's intentional. She'll be angry but she'll merely glower at the person in an intimidating fashion and explain just what harm they're causing and demand they fix it immediately.

History
Morgana was born to to Vivian and Armin Le Feuvre. She was an only child who was loved dearly. Her mother was a physician and her father was a chemist. However, her father was also a mage. Armin had planned to keep his powers a secret from his daughter but she showed signs of magic at a very young age. She was very in tune with nature. She could move stones and plants and speed up their growth. But she couldn't control her power. She'd sometimes nearly be strangled by vines that seemingly appeared out of no where. And the voices of flora and fauna overwhelmed her. She couldn't tune them out. Her father nurtured Morgana's gifts and taught her how to control her power. Under his instruction she was able to silence the voices of flora and fauna and hear them only when she focused on them. Although if she's really injured or weak and her concentration is not what it should be she'll hear everything again and the voices can overwhelm her.
He didn't just teach Morgana about her natural gifts but all sorts of spells. He had a very impressive library and magical study room which he shared with her. He inspired her passion for reading and magic. She would spend hours reading with him after her magic lessons. He thought it was important not just for Morgana to learn spells but to learn the history and theory behind magic.
her father instilled the importance of keeping her magic a secret. He warned her that people were ignorant creatures, terrified of what they couldn't understand. If someone found out she was a mage they might want to run tests on her or outright kill her. She needed to be very careful that no non-mage realized what she could do. At the time she thought her father silly and overprotective but she never did tell a soul. She was satisfied just sharing her gifts with her father.
Everything was fine until Morgana was 16. A plague struck their town, a highly contagious plague. No one was certain of what it was or how to cure it. The town was quarantined. Her mother, the physician, did everything she could to help her patients but once they became ill there was little she could. Her father was skilled in the healing arts. He had Morgana help him sift through the books in his library to research a potential potion or cure that could help. Her father brewed a potion he believed would help and gave some doses of it to his wife to distribute. The patients that received the potion miraculously recovered. Originally the people were relieved. It looked as though a cure was discovered. The other doctors demanded to study the concoction so they could more effectively mass produce and distribute it. Having no way of saying no she reluctantly obliged. They replicated the mundane aspects of the potion but without her father's magic it was no good. Meanwhile the mother had been continuing to more slowly distribute the potions to the infected. (It took a lot of time and energy to prepare even a single dose.) Every patient she treated recovered while no one else's did.
Unfortunately, their town was particularly superstitious and religious every before the plague. And the isolation had made everyone more jittery and on edge. Once it was discovered that only her mother's potions were effective and that there was no scientific reason her potion she work, people got suspicious and terrified. They were convinced it was the work of witchcraft and that it was wrong and unholy.
The town formed a mob and ran to their house screaming "Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live!" Her father came outside, trying to calm everyone but they would not listened to reason. They demanded that the witch mother be dragged outside and given the test of fire. Realizing that he couldn't appease them he admitted to making the potion and being a mage. The mob shrieked that they were both witches and they both needed to burn for their crimes against God. Her father teleported inside to try and protect his wife and her. He collected as many books as he could carry from the library and Morgana and her mother did the same.
Her mother couldn't teleport and Morgana hadn't yet learned that particular spell. Her father was too exhausted from making all the potions to teleport them all. He gave Morgana a magical broomstick and briefly explained how she could make it fly to escape as the mob began knock down their door. But the broomstick could only bare the weight of one person; and, her father refused to leave her mother. Morgana screamed that she wouldn't leave them. Her father rested a hand on her shoulder and calmly explained that she needed to save at least a part of his library. The mob would likely burn their house to the ground and they would lose so much information as it was. And he wanted his daughter to live and further develop her skills. She was already quite skilled and he just knew she'd be a master mage one day who could make a real difference. He promised that they'd try to flee the normal way and meet up with her later. She painfully took the broomstick and as many books as she could carry and flew away. She watched her house being torched as she flew away. She saw her parents be dragged out and burned.
She as discreetly as possible flew to her uncle's house. She explained how the town had went crazy being isolated from the plague and that her parents had been burned as witches. She understood now how dangerous it was to let people know she was a mage. She kept that part a secret. She had always been fairly close to her cousin Arthur and she was relieved to have his comfort and support. But one day he saw her practicing magic. She begged him to keep it a secret and he assured her he would. He met with her and she'd show him spells. At first he was simply fascinated by her talents but then he grew jealous of what she could do. He demanded that she use magic to help him with school and his personal life. If she didn't he would tell everyone what she could do. Terrified that she would end up dead like her parents if she didn't follow instructions she reluctantly did as he said. Still, he was jealous of her. He loathed the fact that he could not use magic himself. The sight of Morgana began to irritate him. He told his parents that Morgana believed she could use magic. They confronted her about it and of course she lied. But then Arthur showed his parents her notebook of magic spells and research. She insisted it was just a game, a hobby, a book she was writing. His parents weren't convinced. And then Arthur showed them the video he'd secretly recorded of Morgana explaining the theory and history behind magic and how that had helped with her spells. She insisted that it was just a fun video, a game. Arther denied that. She was 17 at the time and therefore incapable of making decisions herself. Her aunt and uncle, her legal guardians, had her forcibly committed to a mental institution, using Arthur's testimony and the books and video as proof in addition to mentioning the trauma of her parents being burned as witches in the plague ridden town.
Morgana could have used her magic to escape but she didn't. She was coping with the depth of Arthur's betrayal. And ever the clever and logical thinker, she realized that it would be a pain to deal with setting up a new identity and creating a new life for herself. She wanted the stability of being Morgana Le Feuvre. A little longer and she'd have access to her parents savings. She'd be able to attend college normally and never deal with her treacherous cousin and aunt and uncle again. She practiced her magic in secret, using her magic to feed the video cameras false information as she teleported herself outside to access the appropriate books and materials. Still, the institution was far from comfy and it took great discipline and force of will not to go mad listening to the ravings of the inmates around her. Plus she was still in a sense trapped. She had to attend meetings and answer stupid, pointless, and seemingly cruel questions. She had to again and again deny the existence of magic, the most important thing in her world. And she did need to eat and sleep there. It was tough.
Eventually she was released and she finished her high school education on schedule, although she needed to take summer classes to make up for missed school. She then attended college. Throughout her mundane studies she continued to practice and increase her witchcraft. She learned about magical conduits, forces that could better focus and harness a mage's power. She was determined to build one for herself. When she was 19 she was in the midst of experimenting and trying to create such a device for herself. The task proved more rigorous and dangerous than she first thought. At this point Mr. Waynguard, creator of the MagiPhones, approached her and gave her the Green MagiPhone conduit so she wouldn't kill herself with her experiments. Morgana was very grateful for the gift as by this point she doubted her ability to create one without further study. She asked Mr. Waynguard to teacher her the language from which the phone had been built and explain how he created the phone. She took extensive notes as she was only putting her goal of making a conduit on hold, not giving up entirely. She still doesn't feel she has the necessary knowledge to attempt creating a magical conduit; but, she knows much more than before. She plans on tampering with her MagiPhone at some point to improve it before trying to make a conduit from scratch.
She graduated from college with a history degree. She has opted not to attend graduate school and instead focus solely on her magical studies. She makes money by selling herbal remedies which are highly effective due to the magic spells imbued within them. She also more secretly sells magical poisons. (She's not worried about her mage status being detected through this business as people who believe in herbal remedies already assume the existence of forces that science can't explain. And people buying effective poisons will want to keep quiet about their actions.)
