So, yeah, right now I'm on something of a Star Trek kicker. Original Series is good. Next gen is even better. Deep Space 9 is the best in my books. Then Voyager and Enterprise...*shivers*

Oooh! I love Star Trek! *glomps* Deep Space 9 was by far my favorite! It was one of the darkest versions of Star Trek. I loved Next gen but it kind of annoyed me that people had 'evolved past the use of money'. That would never happen! We'd have no motivation to do anything!
Enterprise...I like to pretend that just didn't happy. I did like Voyager, though. It was nice to have a female captain and I really liked Balona...I think that was her name. The girl with the Klingon heritage.

Only thing is, a lot of characters hadn't evolved past the use of money. One of the many continuity issues of TNG have Federation characters say they paid for things or actually have money in one case. I'm just glad DS9 introduced Gold-pressed Latinum as the predominant currency.
I, too, could pretend Enterprise didn't happen. Except for those Mirror Universe episodes. They were somewhat awesome.

Their form of currency was really neat.
I remember the Deep Space Nine episode where the captain was trapped with the Ferangi (or however you spell it) guy who ran the bar and his little speech about why the captain didn't like his race.
"I get it. You don't like us because we remind you of the way you used to be, obsessed with money and profit. But you're wrong. Yes, we like money but murder...genocide, that was never our issue. No, we're nothing like you."

That was a good episode. I think my favourite episode was the one in Season 7 with Kai Winn being converted to the Pah-Wraiths and the Breen kidnapping Worf and Dax. I think it was called Strange Bedfellows or something similar.
