They stuck 4 in there with Captain Kirk for one issue, if it's any consolation.
The Cybermen actually almost obliterated the Borg.

But the borg adapt ridiculously quickly. You can get maybe three effective shots out of a new weapon for the borg have altered themselves to deal. I'd bet on the borg.

With the current state of things, Cybermen are like a virus. Its a drawn out proccess (I'd assume) to create a Borg; Cybermen can now at least infect the user's brain within minutes. Also, super speed. Can they adapt to that?

This was pre-Nightmare in Silver, so it still had the clunkier Cybermen. With regards to assimilation, if I can give Voyager credit for anything, they sped up the assimilation process. No more Borg technicians working over you on a table, just inject a guy with nanoprobes. But back to the original topic. Here's another comic you all should read. Kingdom Come with gorgeous artwork by Alex Ross, who also did the art for Marvels and Justice. In my opinion, one of the best, and most relevant, comics DC has ever released.

Complete agreement there, it is a MUST read for comic fans, even if you're more Marvel than DC.

I can see why they'd be hesitant on Donna. Her continuity got so majorly fucked up the last time.

I understand that, but this is also the perfect opportunity to pick one origin and stick with it. Even if her origin is so complicated, they can't ignore her forever, she's one of the original Teen Titans.
OH THATS RIGHT. The only two of those five character that still exist are Roy Harper and Dick Grayson - because they can't kill off Dick Grayson if they wanted to. They've tried. And the Teen Titans were started by Tim Drake instead of Dick Grayson so they could erase the old teams.

So I just found out my university bookstore sells trade paperbacks. Yay. So I got myself Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow. It's a great Superman comic done by Alan friggin' Moore. That makes it automatically awesome.

Learned some interesting things today talking to a girl at work, like about how there used to be a ratings system/ok system on comics, and how Teen Titans (Raven's demon story arc) effectively killed that by deciding not to use the system anymore. Interesting story there.
