Overview:
Maxwell is a rather serious man, although he can seem a bit obsessive, due to a case of Asperger's Syndrome that was diagnosed from a young age. Despite this, he's almost indefinitely calm, and maintains a rather extensive library which is held within the Last Bow cafe, and free for his clientele to enjoy while within the cafe. As well, Maxwell constantly maintains a polite, gentlemanly manner, even when dealing with those he absolutely detests, which is actually a means of coping with the negative social effects of his Asperger's Syndrome.

Helmet: Amer's helmet is designed to look like a mix of a gentleman and a gunman, with a monocle-like lens etched with a red crosshair over the left side of the visor, with a hanging chain ending in a stylized bullet, and a stylized blend of a sideways fleur-de-lis and a sideways cross adorning the forehead, with the long point to the left. When the Lockseed is inserted, a smooth jazz roll plays until the Seed is "sliced", which is followed by a brisk "Ahh", then the Seed name.

  Image/ Description: Coffee Arms is comprised of a cuirass resembling a military flak jacket covering the front, back, and sides of the torso, with rounded spaulders made of the ends of the coffee bean, and a long coat-like attachment hanging from around the belt of the Sengoku Driver, all in a deep brown with light beige highlights in assorted swirls. The helmet attachment resembles a mix of a "deer-stalker" hunting cap with a military helmet, with a tactical mic coming down to his mouth on the left side, which allows him to project his voice to any Lockseed he's seen in person before, although he cannot reverse the process and hear through the Lockseeds, and the visor shifts to a milky brown, similar to coffee with fine cream.

The knob on the butt allows Amer to alter the type of shot fired, each named for a different roast pattern of coffee; Dark Roast firing explosive shots, Light Roast firing weak but rapid shots, Blonde Roast firing piercing shots, and Green Roast firing tracer shots.

  Mocha Charge: The third combined finisher, using Cocoa in the Musou Saber and Coffee in the Roast Rifle, firing a massive exploding shot with a thirty-five foot explosion radius.

  Image/ Description: Vanilla Arms is comprised of a thin white cuirass covering the entire upper torso, adorned with golden cross in the front, and golden wings on the back, with short, angular spaulders adorned with golden swirls and short bits of flowing white cloth reaching down to about the elbow, and knee-guards adorned with golden swirls to match the spaulders, as well as an armor skirt. The helmet attachment resembles a blend of a knight's helmet and a centurion's, with a golden crest atop the head resembling that of a centurion, but in golden metal rather than fur/hair, and a slotted visor swinging down in front of the standard visor, which takes on a white color.

  Image/ Description: Hazel Arms consists of a chestplate resembling a bared chest, but in a deep brown color, with a long fur-like coat covering the back down to the knees, and a helmet attachment resembling a bear's head, and the visor takes on a mellow brown shade.

Maxwell had a fairly normal childhood, growing up in an apartment above a popular cafe in Paris. Throughout his life, he was constantly surrounded by coffee, and it fascinated him. From a young age, he'd decided to dedicate himself to coffee, and spent much of his childhood studying various methods of roasting, brewing, blending, and flavoring coffee. At age twenty-one, he was given full ownership of his family's cafe. However, despite his love of the cafe and of coffee, the populace of Paris didn't seem to appreciate his unique flavors.

And so, soon after, Maxwell returned ownership to his parents, and packed his things, moving to a rather modern city in Japan, by name of Zawame City, and opened a new cafe, the Last Bow. Strangely, when he first entered the finished cafe, there was a package sitting on the counter, addressed to him, with no return address. Within, there was a letter, and a strange mechanical device, with six strange lock-like contraptions depicting fruit and seeds. Opening the letter, he read it to himself. "Congratulations on opening your cafe, friend. This is my little welcome gift. It might come in handy in the near future. Signed, a friend." Curious, he decided to hold the large machine to his waist, as a belt formed around him and a strange faceplate appeared on the device. Eventually, he figured out the full purpose of the device, and this is how he came to be Kamen Rider Amer.
