Toshiro sat all by himself in a backroom of the main Shiba House. His back was against the wall and his eyes were focused on the PSP in front of him and a game of AIR playing on the screen.
His Shodophone sat on the floor a few inches away from him. He was using it as a coaster.

Sayuri had been very busy with her responsibilities as ShinkenPink; but, it was still important to be polite and greet her fellow samurai. She hadn't paid her respects to any of them yet. That was practically inexcusable.
Hoping she wasn't going to be interrupting anything important she walked to the Shiba House with purpose and knocked on the door, announcing her presence.

She was let in by a Kuroko and greeted by Jii.
"Greetings, Shiraishi-kun," nodded the elderly caretaker, "I believe this is your first time visiting the Shiba Household, correct?"

Sayuri bowed to the caretaker respectively. "There's no need to be so formal. You can call me Sayuri. And how should I address you?" she asked.

"Jii-san will do," he said, "That is what the others call me and I do not mind it."

"Jii-san, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," she greeted with another bow. "It is as you say. It's my first time here," she added, resuming a standing position.

Jii bowed in return, "It is an honor to have you. The Shinkengers are welcome here anytime. Think of it as your other home."

"I'm here to pay my respects. I apologize for not coming sooner. It's inexcusable. Are any other Shinkengers here? I would very much like to meet them."

He sighed, "Only my grandson, the blue Shinkenger. I'm afraid he may not be willing to meet you..."

Sayuri tried not to panic. He wasn't willing to meet with her?! She must have offended him terribly.
Sayuri bowed in way of apology. "I am very sorry. Of course he's upset that I didn't come to see him sooner," she said calmly despite her nerves. She mentally chanted a mantra about controlling her spirit. It would do her no good to get worked up. It was best to be calm and well balanced in all things.

"Are you alright?" asked a concerned Jii, "It's nothing you did. He doesn't want to meet with anybody. He's a problem child, that one.."

"No, he has every right to feel offended. He is my valued teammate, my ally in arms, my samurai brother. And yet I did not rush to meet him! I must see him and express my deepest apologies. Please, show me where he's staying."

"If you insist.." Jii sighed before leading the way. He knocked on the door when they arrived.
"Toshiro, your fellow Shinkenger wishes to greet you."
No response, he knocked again.
"It is very unsamuri-like to keep a young girl waiting."
"Go away!" a voice called out from the other side, "You know I have no interest in dull 3D girls!"

Sayuri kneeled before the door, refusing to stand. "Please forgive me. It was rude and unforgivable for me to wait so long to pay my respects. You have every right to be angry. Please tell me how I can make it up to you. I do not want our bond to be so fragile. We're supposed to protect each other on the battle field. We must be able to rely on one another in all things."

"If you want to make it up to me so badly," Toshiro responded, "Go get some two double A batteries."
