He didn't even look at her. He moved around her and grabbed Yuki by his coat, pushing him away from Marilen. He didn't say anything, but Yuki got the message, "Sorry," he quickly apologized and hurried off.
Marilen looked at Kiriha, "What was that for?"
"You should find someone better than him," he told her, going back inside and shutting the door.
Marilen smiled, well, at least Sayuri was inside.

He shook his head when he saw her, "I should have remembered you were here." His desire to get to Marilen overshadowed that fact when he realized she was there.

Sayuri was still beaming. "But you prioritized. You were so worried about your sister that you tuned everything else out. Very admirable!"
Then she paused. "Oh right...I'm not supposed to be complimenting you." She moved closer to Kiriha and tried to glare intimidatingly. However, she was normally very polite so she didn't have much practice with this particular expression. It probably looked more cute or ridiculous than intimidating.
"Okay! You need to be more polite! When people approach you, you stop and talk to them! When people try to give you a present you accept it!"
She shoved her bento into his hands. "You're accepting it," she said firmly.

He looked at the bento she gave him, "It's your food," he told her, "I do appreciate the sentiment, but I don't need it." He set it on the table at his side. He folded his arms, "I'd like to enjoy the rest of my break, not deal with this."

"No, it's your food," she contradicted him. "I gave it to you as a present and since being kind and polite doesn't seem to work with you, I'm forcing you to take it. Therefore it's your food now."
"And that's great that you don't want to deal with this but I didn't want to deal with thinking I had ruined your relationship with your girlfriend!" she said, still a bit angry about that.
"Fact of life, you have to cope with things you'd rather not. And I'm not going away. Accept it."

"See, this is what I mean! You're defective!" If politeness wouldn't work perhaps it was time to try rudeness. She felt slightly bad but he needed some bitter medicine, badly.

"Defective as in imperfect or faulty. You think you're so special and 'God's gift to the world' or whatever ;but, you don't treat most people with kindness or proper respect. And that's a problem. One you should try and fix. One I'm going to help you fix."

"You're a good warrior and basically a good person. I imagine you're a good doctor too. You could be truly incredible but not like this." She said with a sad shake of her head. "Your spirit's suffering," she said, pained.
She moved closer to Kiriha. "You're not truly contented or happy. I want to help."
