Miri was a little taken aback by the maneuver, but guessed it was part of some kind of intricate plot. So she kissed him back, enough to make it look convincing.

He broke it and kissed her cheek, getting at every inch of flesh he could, and then down to her neck. He tried to get at her chest, but couldn't quite reach.
