Miri and Serry had a telepathic conversation during that time period, to keep it quiet. Miri was spinning a tale of possibly clinically insane sexual escapades, and Serry was eating it up. Not because she thought it was true; she could tell Miri was lying. But it was fun.

He was gone. He teleported right in front of her, putting his hands on her cheeks, and his mouth on hers as soon as he came out of the teleport.

Miri was shocked by the sudden maneuver, starting back a little ways. She returned it a moment later, though.
