Someone came running and started to extract the bullet with telekinesis while holding him down.

Miri stood back, watching from the sidelines. Serry walked in, standing next to Miri. "Where've you two been?" Serry asked.
The images of the crazy encounters she'd dreamed up while she and Jayce were hanging there sprang to mind for a moment, before she banished them. "Nothing."
"I saw. You're a terrible liar." Serry replied.

Ari came running, shouting for her brother. She wasn't able to get close, so she went to Miri, "Did this happen on your mission?"

"They were screwing." Serry thought at Ari.
"Now who's the liar?" Miri asked, looking to Serry.

"Don't believe her." Miri said, motioning to Serry. "We got into a bit of a scuffle with organization agents, and one got a shot off at Jayce." Serry looked at Miri quizzically.

"Elaborate fabrications. They had a telepath." Miri said.
"I hope that's not actually how he gets his rocks off." Serry thought at Ari.
"Good lord, I can hear that." Miri said, glaring at Serry.

The medic used his telekinesis to move Jayce to the infirmary.

Miri followed the medic, and Serry followed Miri. "So, are those images really fake?" Serry asked.
"You tell me." Miri said, winking. Serry paused, blinking.

The medic stated that he'd be out for a few more hours. During that time Ari came once, but left quickly, not wanting to deal with Serry or Miri.

Miri took a seat. "I'll stick around. You don't have to." She said to Serry.
"I want to know about those images." Serry asked, sitting next to her.
"Well, it's your sanitys funeral." Miri replied.
