Jack was sitting in a shelter that had been constructed for their use as a sort of home base while investigating this particular Precious in Africa. They weren't sure what it was, but they received a rather strong signal off of it, but it would come and go, almost pulsating.

Laurie walked back into the structure, looking at her Accelular. "Any signs of the Precious?" she asked, before putting it back on her jacket holster.

"It's off right now," he said, "It seems to have a pattern. When it activates it's for about twenty three minutes, and then off for two hours."
