Serry retreated into the depths of her own mind for a moment, to observe the new locked psyche she'd apparently acquired.

The man who'd captured the girls stood up from where Lachlan had thrown him, albeit a little shakily, as he leaned heavily on the bed frame. Some minor conditioning that still remained in Serry's brain made her fall absolutely silent at the sight of him. He crouched, reaching under the bed a moment.

Serry was trying to fight the resurgence of the doll's mind, and losing.
The man stood again, holding two masks. He looked at Ari, trying to use telepathy to lock her jaw shut.

She pushed into Lachlan's mind with her telepathy, "He got back up!"

Lachlan swung a leg out, catching the man in the gut. He doubled over, but took advantage of Lachlan's slow movement to quickly throw a mask onto Ari's face using his telekinesis. When Lachlan got up, he punched him square in the chest, driving him back a few steps.

Ari screwed her eyes shut and tried to keep focused so as not to get those memories back.

Miri's mind immediately connected to Ari, bombarding her with the images. Lachlan was trying to keep an even fight with this guy, who was using his telekinesis to amplify his punches and driving Lachlan back.

Ari tried to fight it, but then reached out for the other man to try to distract him.

Miri pounced when she was distracted, launching her strongest wave yet. The man took a moment to brush off her mind, allowing Lachlan to grab a wooden box and even the odds, breaking it against him and driving him to the floor.

"Hurry!" she shouted into Lachlan's mind as she tried to hit the man's again, but was losing ground way too fast.

Miri continued her powerful attack. Lachlan looked around, and broke a post off of the bed, slamming it into the man's chest.
