Miri kept it up. "Now, stay down!" Lachlan roared, swinging the post down. The man caught it with the help of a healthy dose of telekinesis, but only barely. Lachlan wound back again for another blow. The man took advantage of the new lull to quickly attach a new mask to Serry's head. Serry cried out, trying to suppress the doll psyche from returning in force.

Miri simply continued to flood her mind, asserting the new doll psyche. "Once again, STAY DOWN!" Lachlan roared, slamming the post into the man's shoulder. He heard a crack as bone and wood broke, and the captor crumbled to the floor, holding his shattered shoulder. Serry was still trying, and somewhat succeeding, holding off the doll psyche. "I'm not taking those off again." Lachlan muttered.

"Good God." Lachlan muttered, pulling Serry out of the dress and putting the three girls together. He grabbed their captor, and pulled him to his feet. "Teleport us back." Lachlan growled. "Or so help me god you'll die a painful death."

The man nodded fearfully, teleporting them back to Ari's room. Lachlan dragged him out by the collar, screaming into the base for a telepath as he dragged the man to the cells.

Lachlan threw the man to the floor. "He's apparently working with that sick Beyond Ari and Miri captured before. He screwed with their minds, some kind of brainwashing. They're in Ari's room."

Jayce and others hurried in. Jayce grabbed Ari and lifted her up. He tried to pry the mask off, but he couldn't, so he put his hand on the back of her head and focused. He flickered and tore her free from all of it with his zero shift, before going to Serry, and then Miri to do the same.

Lachlan pulled a sheet from the bed to cover them as Jayce pulled them out. Miri's face was blank, but Serry's eyes were wide. She was still trying to maintain control of her own mind, but being out of the suit helped her greatly.

Jayce plunged right into Ari's mind, hoping to use his bond to her to help her free, while other telepaths worked on the other two.

Lachlan shoved the man working on Serry away, taking over and working to help her repress the unnatural psyche. Miri wasn't having any of it though, her mind keeping the doll psyche in place.

Lachlan helped Serry shove the doll psyche into a dark corner of her mind. Miri's mind was putting up a powerful defense. "I say we put Miri back in that suit and work on her later. Ari said Miri shoved her in one of these things earlier anyhow." Serry proposed.
