Erik's new work placement was awesome. It was in a library in east Germany, with access to some incredibly old books that told of very old myths. Not to mention it was right next to a pizza place. It was Erik's idea of heaven.
What wasn't so heavenly, however, was the sudden appearance of a giant blue Stegosaurus in the middle of the road on a Friday morning. Not only did that make for several angry Germans, it also made for a terrified Erik. After all, there are no dinosaurs anymore...right?

There were some murders in Germany that lined up with the MO of the Smile Maker, so Owen went to check it out. He wanted to kill that man so badly, he wanted to finally run into him and end his miserable life. He had yet to reach the location of the first murder when a dinosaur had appeared.
If he wasn't working with Interpol, he'd never know what to think. He had a pretty good idea, though, thanks to Interpol. He was getting his belt slung on and getting ready.

Cautiously, Erik stepped around the dinosaur. Admittedly, he knew very little about dinosaurs, but he knew that a stegosaurus was a plant-eater, so he wasn't really in any danger.
So why was it giving him a threatening look?

Owen was ready to put his belt on and transform, but the dinosaur really wasn't doing anything. It was just being docile, it looked like. Maybe attacking it would spur it to attack something else, and he didn't want to risk that...

Without warning, the Stegosaurus gave out a violent cry and began moving towards Erik, who started to back away, obviously very scared.

Owen transformed and lifted his blaster, firing on the dinosaur.
