"Can you be hurt if you're a cloud of gas?" she asked curiously. Her vision had implied as much; but, she couldn't really wrap her head around the concept. "When you're using this avatar can you feel pain? If I hit you would it hurt?"
"I'm not going to hit you!" she added hastily. She just wanted to know how it all worked.

"We're halfway in and out." Adam explained. "We're a gestalt consciousness. We keep our individuality, but thoughts are shared and others' strengths compliment our weaknesses. Also, we don't really die. At least, not in the traditional sense."

We have yet to confirm what that monster is. If you two don't stop and identify yourself or at least tell me what your intentions are some of the squads might mistake your for the bloody monster!"
"Heck we don't even know what the bleeding thing looks like yet nor if it can disguise itself. So slow down!"
Meanwhile the Cat Fangire had found the powerful dark creature and was looking at it curiously and slowly inching towards the dark creature while still making sure it was out of the reach of his sword.

Pass on through...in return...destroy this race called humans and usher in a new era of magic," David said as he moved as a gesture for the Fangire to pass him.

Erika what have to hold her questions for later. The other person had followed them and she doubted Adam would want him to know what he was.
Erika held up her phone to other guy. "It doesn't matter if it can disguise itself. My MagiPhone picks up auras. And we're pretty close to it." The black dot was pulsing violently. Whatever they were searching for was very near.

"OK that would be helpful," said Zack," But we still don't know what it is. We assume based on the reports and what been happening to the victims it an Orphnoch and those things have a human form."
"But i could be wrong about that. Also," said Zack as the group seem to stumble across something," Who are you two?"
Meanwhile the Cat Fangire with his head tilled in confusion spoke to the dark being," Magic? What's Magic? Destroy Humans? No humans food, need humans to eat. Can hurt and Kill but no destroy. That ok?"

"A human form?" Erika asked concerned. "Are the people being manipulated and consumed or can the sentient creature merely disguise it's appearance?" she wondered out loud. She didn't expect Zack to have an answer.
"Regardless, this phone can pick up disturbances even if the causer is a magical human. It's more attuned to creatures from Hades than anything but something this close and causing this much trouble...It won't miss it. It can't hide," she insisted.
And then they stumbled across something. The back circle pulsed harder than ever and her phone made a beeping noise. She pointed to the dark being. "And that there would be our problem."

David sighed...sometimes these monsters were so hard to deal with, "Fine, do whatever you want to do," he said as he waved the Fangire away as the others began to come, including one of the Magirangers as he remembered his meeting with those two. "Nice to meet you again Magiranger...not without your guardian again?" he sneered.

Erika rolled her eyes but of course this mage wouldn't be able to see that. "He's NOT my guardian," she insisted. "I don't have one. I'm looking for someone to teach me magic. He seems to think you're evil but how am I to know? I haven't actually seen you do anything." She wasn't one to just take others words as absolute. She would judge people based on their own merits.

David nodded, "That's a good statement...that will save you...not believing what people say and taking it for face value," he remarked as he tilted his head when she said she was looking for someone to teach her magic. "I can teach you magic...I have books that details the powers that you possess...you are a seer, someone with the power to see the future, there will be people who would take advantage of that. I would urge you to be careful..." he said warningly.
