David was surprised when Erika was able to control the water bird to somehow communicate with him, he thought she had not come to that stage yet, he thought that she was still far away from that skill. But it seems he once again underestimated her potential, and again she was naive to think that he was trying to control the monster, he simply smirked and made the slightest nod, "Yes...I wanted to see if I could control the monster and use it to defend people, perhaps even experiment on it to see if there is anything useful that we can garner from it," he whispered to her.

Having only been properly taught the one spell, Erika had spent endless hours manipulating it. She knew so little and she wanted to learn so much with respect to magic. She hadn't wanted to wait for proper lessons. She experimented as much as possible with what she had.
Again, she was relieved that Mr. McKinnon didn't seem upset or seem to think she was unduly showing off. She was grateful that he had chosen to respond to her questions. A small part of her wasn't entirely convinced with the answer, as she had laid out his response and he merely agreed, but although somewhat skeptical, she still for the most part trusted him. He got it. He understood that knowledge was pure. He was the only mage she had run into who didn't think that train of thought was inherently flawed if not outright corrupt.
"Did you learn anything useful?" she whispered back hopefully.

"Perhaps," he answered back, "I will need to research more into the monster's origins to see if we can extract anything that would be useful for all mages. Experimentation is one of the most fundamental concepts that all mages must learn to appreciate, you would do well to experiment with all sorts of things and see where it takes you."

Erika nodded her head excitedly. "I love research and experimentation!" she insisted. "I had a lot of fun playing with the fire bird spell. Hopefully one day I'll heave learned enough to be able to help you with your research!"

"You will make a fine researcher, I am sure of it," David remarked back before turning to the others, "now that my duty is done I will excuse myself," as he turned to walk away.

Erika wondered if she should follow him but he was a powerful mage. He'd likely have a way to contact her later. She'd really rather stay with Adam and try to protect him. She didn't know if what she had seen would occur today; but, as a seer she had an obligation to try and prevent her premonition from occurring.
She simply waved to Mr. McKinnon. "Thank you for your help! I look forward to studying with you!"

Zack sighed as he watch the monster be destroyed and said," Great now I got stained glass to clean up... wait where is all the stained glass?"
"Darn it, said Zack," That's the first Fangire I've seen in weeks and now I can't even grab the fragments to send back to the boys now. Ah well I just hope the people here will be safe."
"Still that man... something is off about him. Oh well i just hope it doesn't bite me in the but. Now can both of you tell me your names already? I've been dragged along enough to see that both of you could be helpful of helping mankind from being obliterated."

Erika didn't really get what the man was saying but she didn't have a problem with telling her name as she had already mentioned it to the mage.
She reverted to her normal form and walked over to the man. "Erika Danielles," she said sweetly, extending a hand. "It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance."

"Noted Miss Danielles," said Zack as he to demorphed," I am Commander Zack Deragon, Commander of the Wild Lance Irregulars and CEO of the Wild Lance Corporation. A pleasure to meet you and i hope i can call on you in case if we meet up with some more dangerous monsters." Zack handed her a card with the Wild Lace Hotline on it which inlcude a emergency ambulance number and rapid response number on it to Eirka.
Zack then took out a second card and looked at the man while holding out the card to that man," And you?"

She turned to Adam. "Do you know who he is? I mean...He seems important but I don't know anything about the Wild Lance Irregulars or Corporation."

"To protect humanity," said Zack," That's something you can't do from an office, i rather be here with the troops for that. Whether i'm important or not I don't know but in the grand sceme of things I want to make sure that humanity can survive.... even if that means having to befriend the monsters that try to kill us all the time. I'm mostly into protection and rapid response though.
