Jessica rushed inside of the nearest building to get out of the cold. It was colder than usual today, even for London. It had to be like 7 degrees outside, and it hadn't stopped raining for days. If it got any lower, it'd start snowing. Jessica twitched at the thought of it snowing. She absolutely despised the feel of snow. She pulled out an ecig and turned it on, taking in a puff of the steam and nicotine it released. At least when she smoked for real she could warm up slightly when she lit up. Jessica looked around. It was another bloody Starbucks. She shrugged and sat down.

Ravinn was going to do this personally. A personal touch yielded more results sometimes than using others to do his work for him, so he figured it was worthwhile. With a flourish of his coat he took a seat across from her, but said nothing.

This was a bad idea. Cécile knew this was a bad idea; but, that wasn't going to stop her from doing it. It had been a long frustrating day and she needed some form of comfort. She was already wired so she was sure the edition of caffeine was not going to be a pleasant one; but, it would make her feel better if just for a moment before she started acting like a hyperactive gerbil.
She paid for her coffee and decided to venture outside. She was surprised to see two other people already out there. She had assumed she'd be alone given the temperature. Not certain of whether she wanted to strike up a conversation, she began furiously pacing, trying to work off the day's troubles.

Jessica watched the man sat down in front of her. She kept a straight face, simply taking a puff from her fake cigarette. "Good afternoon" she said, trying to act as polite as needed.

"My name is Ravinn Wolf," he told her in his Dutch/Spanish mix of an accent, "And you...you have...," he waved his arm around a little, trying to find words, "A belt and coins?"

Cécile, always the rule breaker, enjoyer of things she wasn't supposed to do was eavesdropping. She didn't expect the conversation to be particularly interesting; but, she was wired and had nothing better to do.
Ravin Wolf? What kind of name was that? Belt and coins? What was so odd about that? Was he confirming that she had money for something? Continuing to pretend that she was aimlessly pacing, she tried to stealthily peek over at their table and see what was happening.

"I do" Jessica confirmed, saying nothing else. She sat still, staring him in the eye as she took another puff of her fake fag. God she wished she had a real cigarette instead of a watermelon flavored stick.

He gave a slight smile, "Wonderful," he said simply, "I would like to make you an offer."

"Work for me," he said, clasping his hands together on the table, "Work for me, and I will see to it that I do whatever I and my resources can do for your...diagnosis."

"And what would that entail?" Jessica asked.

He smiled, "Nothing that should be problematic for you."

Cécile continued to listen. She still had no idea of what was going on but it was interesting. She made sure that her pacing brought her closer and further away from their table at different intervals but never so far away that she couldn't make out the words.
She was an experienced veteran of eavesdropping. Even if they got suspicious and asked what she was doing she'd deal. She always did.

"Go on.." Jessica said, trying not to roll her eyes. She preferred to never get into a situation without the details. Or without a sizable payout, one or the other.

"I want your power, and I will pay in whatever way I must to have it on my side. Money...a cure?"
