Nathan? Jessica recognized the name and the face from the poster. She chuckled under her breath. She'd file that away for later. But she didn't have the time to wonder that for long as he approached, shooting more fire. She managed to get her hands up in time to block the attack with a stream of water, taking a step forward as she did so. She had to be careful not to trip over her own whips as she so. Jessica started forming a plan as she fired, grateful that the water was seemingly endless.

He stopped with the flames and just rushed her, twisting his body and throwing a kick high, aiming for her upper chest or head.

She blocked the kick, just barely, with her arm. She could feel the impact but decided to ignore it. She turned into a liquid, melting away after the kick. She surrounded and engulfed him. When she reformed she'd had him in a head lock from behind.

"Ah!" he shouted, "Damn it!" He tried to figure out what he could do. He tried to ram his elbow back for her.

Ankh was very concerned about Nathan. The depth of his concern frustrated him. He fought the urge to revert to his true form and attack the other 000 right then. No, he should wait and see what Nathan would do. But what if he waited too long and Nathan was actually killed?!
Oh damn it all. He'd at least be prepared to help. Ankh willed his belt on and focused his Medals into it, changing his form. He stood back for the moment but prepared to come to Nathan's aid should the situation turn desperate.

Jessica reached a hand for his belt, tapping it tauntingly.

"Not going to happen," he muttered, ramming his Spinner towards her arm and unleashing a blast of flame.

Jessica staggered backwards at the flame, grasping her arm. She figured the suit took more damage from the fire than she would, but it still hurt like hell to get shot with fire. She backed up, but turned her other arm into liquid again. This time she wrapped her hand around his skull, hoping that some water would seem through his helmet.

Damn it! He could barely see, but at least for now he could breathe, but for how long? He focused, thinking, thinking...
The next thing he knew he was shooting upwards.

Ankh had been just about ready to jump into the fray when Nathan did it! He was finally flying! Ankh instantly scolded himself for being so excited. Of course Nathan was flying. He had given him the proper instructions and a pawn that couldn't fly couldn't tap into the full powers of his suit. In other words, a grounded tool was a useless one.
"About time!" he called out to Nathan. It was quite a sight to see. He was half tempted to fly himself but no...He should continue to wait patiently and see what Nathan could do.

Jessica was surprised when he managed to fly. She figured that he would eventually, but she hoped that she'd have a bit more time. She cracked her whips at his wings, hoping to knock him out of the sky.

Nathan took shots to his legs, chest, and wings as he tried to evade. He couldn't get higher. Why couldn't he get higher?
"Damn it," he muttered, shooting flames down for her and trying his best (and failing) to evade.

Flying but inexperienced. It was pitiful to watch. But Nathan was new it this. He supposed it would just take time. He'd definitely have to give him some flying lessons later. It was really a shame to see the bird suit barely touch the air like this.

As Nathan fired, Jessica turned into a liquid. The bursts of fire were extinguished as they hit her, with steam pouring off of her as it did. Jessica winced from the heat, turning back into a solid form when the shots stopped. She smiled under her mask as her whips kept hitting. She turned and ran at the wall closest to where he was flying.
She raised her right leg, planting her foot firmly on the wall. She put her left leg on the wall as well, taking a second to orient herself before running up the wall towards Nathan.

He let his wings stop and he fell for her, twisting his body. He knew this was stupid, but he was going for it anyway. He was going to aim a kick for her head, hoping the bladed quality of his legs might do some nice damage, without him taking too much in return.
